hm. i'm doing something wrong - i have old track tiles and strange roller tiles(on screen - two groups rollers, S,N,S,N - some look like up arrow, some like table, regardless of the direction)
34.10v00 preinstalled, new world, new tiles for tracks and rolers(arrows) present in Phoebus_16x16.png

any help?
Try running the init updater.
If that isn't fixing the problem, send me a screenshot.

downloaded the update from dffd and ran the init updater and save game updater (not sure what the tt off updater does but it doesn't say to run that so i didn't) now whenever i run DF i get an error message before i start that says "not found:data/art/mouse.png"
also want to say that i love this graphic pack and it's clear that you and others have put alot of time and fantastic work into this thanks so much
Which version did you upgrade from?
The data/art/mouse.png is included in all recent versions, so unless it's a realy old version or if you've deleted mouse.ng, I really don't know.
If you want to fix this quickly, you can download the reinstalled package, or copy mouse.png from any preinstalled package you've downloaded previously.

Just stopping by after some time to say thanks for your continuous effort!

It's in my opinion that having good looking walls and bad looking river gives a better overall feel than ok river & ok walls.

And this is reason why I stick to your tileset :) - no messing around, just grabbing preinstalled package and go

Of course, I've also created the tileset assembler.

And this is why are you so great  :-D

But I have one request - wouldnt be it better to have enabled autosave by default? One realizes that usually too late. And since we are now in rather rapid part of dev cycle with new versions and bug being introduce quite frequently...

There's just too many autosave options, and I'd rather not surprise users with unexpected behavior.

Edit.: You could try LazyNewbPack or MasterWork.
They both come with the Phoebus Graphic Set and utilities to configure DF.

Hey phoebus, I downloaded your tileset and love the look, but for the new version I am not getting any sound on the pre-installed version. Was that intentional, and if it was how may I get my sound back?

Dwarf Fortress doesn't have sound, but there are some utilities (SoundSense) that can generate sound based on the events in DF.
If you played with a pre-packaged bundle before, SoundSense was probably pre-installed.

It does have some music which I disabled by default. The game comes with ~5 minutes of looping music, and it's been the same music since forever.

Thats what I meant, I am one of the few people that enjoyed that loop. How would I enable it?

In the init file near the top there is an option for sound.

Enabling sound (music), bumping the default embark size to 5x5, changing pop and child caps (I like to grow new dwarves), and enabling yearly saves are the only changes I've made from default Phoebus (with the exception of playing around recently with Ironhand dwarves and creatures) since 31.25.

I'm in linux, and generally install then run vi Phoebus/data/init/*init.txt to get my required changes in before running Phoebus/df. :D

I've added a background to several characters to reduce the amount of pure black backgrounds in-game.
I, O, o & ; are used for several buildings and constructions.
Z, ! & ? are used as status indicators.
- / | \ are used for objects and the stacked creature display transition animation.

Do I guess right by the first post/poll that this graphic pack is the culpit for some missing letters I got from time to time?

BTW I do love the Phoebis work, and I discover it with the Lazy Pack, so do not take this as a criticism, just a question  ;)

Killing dwarves is so much fun. Heck, even the dwarves agree, else they wouldn't kill themselves so often.
