For the sake of scepticism (and the way North Korea works) I call this out as bullshit or propaganda.

You need a lot more than just one grain when dealing with N Korea.

I'll only accept this when the view of No Korea from space at night is suddenly filled with lights after the course of ten years or so. THEN we know something is afoot.

Sounds like complete bull, just from the way the article was written.

Anyway, forgive me I've got my head in the nuclear sand, didn't we already have nuclear fusion, hence all those silly isotopes like Ununquadium? just it takes way more energy to make them than they release, obviously.

Does north Korea even have nuclear capabilities yet? Last thing I heard they were still trying to duct tape a reactor together using string, Styrofoam and medical waste.

Nuclear fusion was discovered in the 1930's, its the engineering requirements to make it a practical energy source that are the problem. North korea probably just made a knockoff of a soviet era tokamak reactor.

Not to mention the fact that the cnn report says that they did it on Kim II Sungs birthday, which sounds like BS to me and propoganda.
