Yeah a new WOW clone. ...i doubt that THQ is the kind of company to come up with something risky yet innovative.

Yeah bro, Warhammer and Warhammer 40k are total ripoffs of Warcraft.   The nerve!

Well, one's gotta look realistically at things, and since WoW slaughtered all my fondest memories of Warcraft and basically drowned my childhood under a bog of gleeful retardation, allowing players to actually KILL Illidan - the only character in the lore not motivated by severe cranial trauma (maybe apart from the cheerfully evil Ner'zhul), I kind of look forward to spawn-camping Abaddon the Despoiler, or at least some of the less important Traitor Primarchs, waiting for that sweet, sweet purplez and/or God-Emperor of Mankind's Insignia (x5), "Use this to unlock Terminator Armour Tier 5 at your Quartermaster!".

Oh, and Capn, don't open that particular can of worms, please :) Almost all of us know how it really went, but there's always a Sensei Troll hiding under a nearby bridge or something, waiting to blitz in on the action.

edit : Hurrr "more unimportant = less important"

What a strange and beautiful world I beheld, but dangerous too, I was certain. And I was friendless and homeless. And so I prayed.
"Hear me, exalted spirits. Hear me be you gods or devils, ye who hold dominion here. I am a wizard without a home. I am a wanderer seeking refuge."

While your attempt at humor is greatly appreciate, I must remind you to keep separate the debate about the setting and the debate about the actual game and its mechanics and workings.

So we got monsters above, monsters below, dwarves in the middle and a party in the dining hall. Sounds good to me.
If all else fails, remember one thing:  kittens are delicious, nutritious little goblin-baiters, cavern explorers, and ambush-finders.

What proof is there that the game will be a ripoff of WoW?

All he said was he suspects a WoW clone because THQ isn't known for innovation[citation needed].

The only PROOF of anything so far, is that it's an MMO, there are role-playing elements, and it's about WH40k. For all we know Necrons could still be written in as a player class; we're not sure how much room there is to go back on what's been said.

And, of course, we'll see a lot more pending E3 (when is the next one anyways?)

Being an MMORPG doesn't instantly make a game a WoW clone though, and WoW clone itself is a pretty loaded phrase with no real meaning- considering a lot of elements WoW capitalizes off of are taken wholesale from other games.   This is counting both gameplay mechanics, style, etc.

We know.

Please continue discussion how awesome spess muhreens will or will not be, and why Eldar jetbikes are overpowered.

Using future tense and uncertainty when talking about Space Marines being awesome is dangerously close to HERESY!

Also, corrupt intentions.
