Damn, I was hoping this would be a 'who would play who?' thread. Can we make it that instead? :D Okay.

Jean Reno as the eccentric yet wise chef who answers the foreman's exasperated rhetorical questions with astoundingly insightful and/or inane observations conveniently appropriate to the situation at hand.

Ooh! Ooh! Hugo Weaving as the elven diplomat. You think he's going to go all LotR on you, and channel Elrond, but instead it's agent Smith.
"I... hate this place, this zoo, this prison, this Fortress, whatever you want to call it. I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink. And every time I do I feel I have somehow been infected by it. It's repulsive, isn't it?"

EIDT: ...and then Cap'n Ironblood walks by in his Grime suit of armor.

There are many issues with this statement.

Actually, this sequence of the film looks rather dwarfy (apart from the fact the lava looks like soup)

I really want that one as a "when". I want "grubs", and "virgin woman" to turn into a dragon. and monkey children to suddenly sprout wings. And I want the Dwarven Mutant Academy to only gain their powers upon reaching puberty. I also have a whole host of odd creatures that only make sense if I divide them into children and adults.

Also, tadpoles.

The dwarves scientists drill down to the magma sea mantle, but are stopped by warm rock spam undiggable stone, and deal with it with brute force (re-designating NUKE), but the pressurized magma glitch explosion causes magma to explode up the dig site, and they all celebrate as they can now kill elves generate electricity.

Then their fort research base is destroyed by HFS a hidden hydrogen pocket, meaning that the site has to be abandoned.

I mean, they even call it magma instead of lava!

True, but at a certain velocity the resulting explosion expels invader-bits at fatal speeds. You don't want to be dropping trogdolyte-shaped shrapnel bombs into your boneworks.
