What's the difference between a book and a scroll gamewise?

A scroll can be used to cast a spell for no cost of mana, but can only be used once.A book lets you learn a spell and it is added to your spell list to cast normally.

I offer 120 coins. You can keep anything you find in his hut. There should be some magical items there.

i go to Ochita and Serolius

i spoke to the chief frog, the bloated moron told me of a necromancer that lives in the south, he's all borked up over a few corpses the guy stole. He gets us a good price on it's head, plus i could use some of his stuff.
There should be enough for both of us, Serolius

Serolius nodded, before turning to Ochita. "As we will likely find Dark spells in the necromancer's abode, it would be for the best if you purchased a Shield spellbook with the pelt."

Check the other stores to see their wares.

Aye, I'll help with the necromancer.

Specify. It would take too long for me to list all the shops, plus most of it would be useless junk.

i think leveling up our magicancy is a priority, these frogmen probably can't smelt iron or make bronze; their chief is clad in copper. they probably have cave fish and stuff, but as of now we have plenty of food.

i vote we buy the book of shield and set of to the bogs.

So I think that I get a book of shield, I mean you know hes a necromancer, he probably has a couple of books on death magic anyway GAH YOU GUYS 9 REPLYS Yes I agree with me getting the book of shield, plus that necromancer could have some things that coul prove useful to me aswell

I buy the magic book of shield (After selling the pelt) and on the journy look for some firewood after reading the book

gather some nearby wood, make a fire, then cook the last of the deephound meat, mixed with the healing nuts, and take the deep nuts.  Then head to the group.
that should leave me with 8 items, so no inventory free, but I'm one of the only guys with food, so that's gonna change fast.

Kilakan yells, Hey wait up guys!!!
