Animal Armor?

Wouldn't it be just awesome to have armor or weapons for your war animals?  :D

Using live animals as armor? Hmmmmm... Wrestling as they claw your enemy's eyes out? That's not to bad of an idea though. Would any of this be possible to mod in?

Mounts should definitely get armour of some kind. Since ancient times armoured war dogs were used for guarding caravans and even used on the battlefield to attack the enemy.

They're like medieval tanks, only far less controlable and prone to trampling your own guys by accident or "accident"... who wouldn't want something like that in a fort?


Edit: And I don't mean strapping living elephants to dwarves as armor, though it does sound awesome.

I don't know why, but I lol'd when I saw that dog. I love Staffs ( the dog breed, not the weapon, said differently lol ). When I have steady work again I'm planning on getting one and I too will dress him in armour like this, so I can lol, plus it would be awesome if someone broke into my house and an armoured staffordshire bull terrier attacked them.

Haha i lol'ed when i imagined the look on the face of the thief as a armored war dog comes bounding out of nowhere, and i lol'ed even harder when I thought how he would explain to his thief friends!
