GIANT SPOILERS: Finding dem Mysterious Fings

So, I'm trying to find a mysterious structure. I've heard that they occur once in every region tile (i.e. 16x16 embark). Is this true? Also, is any quick way of finding them known apart from just blanketing the region with embarks? Also, does that whole "find adamantine shortsword in stocks" thing still work?

It should. If you embark in a 16x16 region (massive but doable as a temporary thing) you should be able to locate it, note the general area of where it is, and then embark there in a save copy.

Actually a very good idea. I hadn't thought of doing it in a copy. Thanks for the tip.
