Dig a hole in the ground, climb into it, complete your transformation into a tree.

No! We must resist!

>Flee the cave and try to learn more about the parasitic tree.
You leave as fast as you can, you find Blake's crushed remains...

You know nothing about the tree except it is a part of you, and thus whatever energy you get from it it passes some onto you.

Resist the tree's influence on our mind.
You don't know how.

Dig a hole in the ground, climb into it, complete your transformation into a tree.
You dig a hole and sit in it, the tree falls off, you get out. You feel like you have just lost part of you.

Dig a hole in the ground, climb into it, complete your transformation into a tree.

No! We must resist!
No worries.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

(I the tree thing just lost it's feeling with me)

You lack the willpower to shake it off.

You already left the cave.

(You guys should revisit one of your past explorations now)

Let's gp back to that decontamination thing.
You go back to that decontamination thing, and it accepts you, it opens, and the stench nearly overwhelms you...

There are several mangled decomposed bodies, obviously as old as the ones in the cave, and there's a SMCVR laying on the floor with several empty battlerifles.

Let's see what's on the SMCVR.

You start the video, the video first displays In white text, "Vick Anderson Smith, Corporal. 2642 (143 years ago)."

The start of the video shows the crash site of the "Westside".

They go though the usual routine of helping the wounded, you skip that.

They (Seven of them) arrive at the building you are at now.

Lt; Pete:"Vick, cover the top while we check this will you?"

Cpl; Vick:"Sir."

Lt; Pete:"Everyone else, with me."

*Vick moves to position above the entrance, the rest of the squad moves to the entrance and goes in*

*Five hours past*

(Radio) Lt; Pete:"What the hell?"

(Radio) Pvt; Coot:"Oh s-AAAaaahhh...!"

(Radio) Lt; Pete:"Naaaaaaahhhh!"

*Static*

(Radio) Lt; Duke:"Team Omega, respond!"

Cpl; Vick:"Vick here."

(Radio) Lt; Duke:"Team Beta?"

(Radio) Lt; Blake:"Aw shit."

*Static*

(Radio) Lt; Duke:"Team Beta?!"

(Radio) Lt; Duke:"Team Omega, what's your status?"

Cpl; Vick:"The rest of my squad is dead."

(Radio) Lt; Duke:"Team Omega, hold on, I'm sending team Alpha."

*Fifteen minutes past*

Cpl; Vick:"You team Alpha?"

Lt; Berry:"Yep, where did the rest of your squad go?"

Cpl; Vick:"Down there."

Lt; Berry:"Alright, everyone let's go!"

*The gang™ goes down into the lab, only going a few rooms.*

(Radio) Lt; Duke:"This is base, we are under attack by-AAAAAaaaarrgggghh..."

Lt; Berry:"Base?"

Lt; Berry:"Hold on Base, we're coming!"

*They make it back to the entrance, and are surrounded by aliens.*

Lt; Berry:"Aaahhh, Aaaaahhh! Fall ba-..."

*They are cut down at the entrance.*

and try and harm the vegetation...just to see if you can, now

You find countless weapons and skeletons of various creatures, but all the weapons are empty. You do see a note though, human handwriting.

Read it, foo'.

*The note is bloody*

Lieutenant Duke, 2642, this may be my last note, I hope to god that someone reads this and doesn't suffer the same fate as me.

For anyone who can read this, alien or human, you must know.

The creatures have several forms, these are what I have seen:

The small ones, who swarm in groups, while being weak on their own, they come in large swarms.

Then there's the tougher ones, they are larger and stealthy, you may only hear them once before they kill you. They only appear on rare occasions.

Then there's the non stealth versions of them, they appear in swarms after the small ones don't do the job, they are usually supported by other more advanced forms.

Then there's the gigantic ones, they are rare, but are nearly invulnerable to any damage to the front. They cannot take a whole lot of damage when attacked from behind. Don't get hit by one or you are guaranteed to die.

There's also the fast ones, they are dangerous, and can take surprising amounts of damage.

Finally, th-

The note ends here.
