invisible slick:

The players are walking along a sloped stone floor, when someone mysteriously falls, and starts sliding down the cobblestone floor.

Anybody who runs up to help said player will also fall.

The bottom of the pit is an oil lake.

I love making pointless puzzles, having the door unlocked anyway, and then making half of the doors have powerful traps on them, to make people paranoid.

In a room, there's a large, ornately carved door. An imprint of a face on the wall, with a large array of pressure pads in it, and holes where the eyes are, next to the imprint is an inscription that reads "Observe the path you seek. Through my eyes, see the truth.. If the PC puts their head in there, an area of wall around the imprint vanishes and a mechanical hand slaps them with enough force to maybe break their nose, and they're temporarily blinded by a bright light; after retracting their head, the imprint appears again, and it is observed that "nothing seems to have changed"...

Well, I have circumnavigated the internet. I ended up here as a result for a search of trap-based dungeons for my adventurers.

I was going to do a room with a magical Stone to Flesh trap. On the ceiling, in particular.
