BAY 12: INTO THE GAME
Sitting at your computer, you load up Dwarf Fortress and Gen a new world on a whim. As the worlds history generates, you begin to feel entranced by the flashing symbols, the dancing colors, the history playing out in fast-forward on you computer screen.

Then, you begin to fall.

You enter you computer, you enter Dwarf Fortress, falling spinning! You are disoriented and confused, and green, white and purple symbols dance just out of view!

And wih no warning, you land. You are facedown in the grass, and you can hear others around you, all breathing heavily like you. The grass is soft and green, full of life. You are still very disoriented...

The game stops now. This is your new reality.

There are a lot of things within my reach, so this list is as complete as I'll make it. You asked for it.

The grass is green and lush, but you feel you already have done this.

Anything  you think you could reasonably grab while being SUCKED AT HIGH VELOCITY INTO YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN!

You hear someone say "YESS!!" almost right after you said that. Not very reassuring.

You will need to post an action.

Also, I just realized that we will need a gender for pronouns. My bad.

(Male here)

Forsaken looks up, surprised at the yelling.

Seeing others nearby, he stands and waves to them.

I calm down and try to get my bearings. Look for plumes of smoke and dead trees.

Male. Check surroundings. Are we in grassland, etc etc?
Are those around me the other players, or SOME EXCITING DORFS?
Also 6'2" in case we meet dorfs and they feel like measuring me for dorf science.

They seem to notice you, but do not immediately respond.

(also male)

There are no plumes of smoke, or dead trees. However, there are sparse trees around you...

Male.

I looks around, trying to find the source of the yes.
You see a man in a t-shirt and shorts. The t-shirt is labeled something about "SCIENCE!!!"

Spoiler: Entry (click to show/hide)

Action: check my surroundings.

You are in a field of grass, with a smattering of trees dotting the landscape. The western horizon is rougher than the others. There are mutiple people scattered about, lying in the grass.

"WHAT IN THE HELL MAN!?!?!"
This draws a few stares. One of your lenses has popped out.

As you move forward to check your surroundings, there is a crunch under your foot. You lift it up to reveal a cracked eyeglass lens. The others do not appear to be dwarves, or indeed anyone you would expect from DF. None of them appear to be wearing thongs, in anycase.
