So there is no way we can set up a camp like the ?? site near the river, just on the side of the river we're on right now? 

I'd prefer to be closer than the mountains as I'd trust the dwarves slightly more than the elves.

As far as setting up, I think it should be semi-permanent at this stage. More than an overnight camp, but flexible to move should a better spot be discovered through exploration.

I'd prefer we avoid crossing the river until we can bridge it.
