Nah you're really nice.

*Facepalms himself for thinking of Vector as of a dude*
Haha, thank you =)  It's okay, I actually pretended I was a guy for the first 6 months I was here.
Yeah I think that confused me enough.

*looks at votes*

You know, I actually wasn't expecting that. They just don't believe in the power of the pipe. Philistines.

Workerdrone's had time to get entrenched in this forum. Piecewise is trying to make up for it by trying to scare us, but there just isn't enough time or support.

Had to vote for Footkerchief. While some may argue his disqualification because of his nature as a sentient, hyperoptimized search function, I argue that because he's a Dwarf Fortress-related one, he actually inherits a preposterous quantity of Dwarfiness (and we're all aware that each point of Dwarfiness is worth 2 points of manliness).

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

The fact that he's willing to grapple with the search function was enough for me to nominate him.

He doesn't actually use the search function.  He archives the forum on his own server, and made a better one in dwarf fortress, using pumps and floodgates.

Our search function...isn't that bad.

Having to go to the main forum page to search the entire forum is annoying, but not that bad.

Also Fault, you're requested in the manly thread. I want to see you there.
Yeah. Piecewise, me and Vester shared photos so I was interested in seeing you too.
He wants to see if you're as manly IRL as you are online. :P

FINE JEEZ

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

not so sure why I'm doing this, it's not like I can really catch up to Workerdrone

:o
I had to google that to find out what you were talking about.
In the biz we just call those "Joy Cables". (I don't know why....)

Sarcasm aside, Deon probably wins there.  8)
'course he does! He's from Russia, where it's a crime to not be manly.

EDIT: HA HA, I AM IN SECOND AGAIN
...ONLY TWELVE VOTES BEHIND WORKERDRONE.
