I dunno.
I just think it sould be like Advanced Wars (2, Black Hole Rising)
Maybe not totally ineffective, but only does 50%ish damage?

I hate to double post, but if I train an AA gun on an infantry man...
Pink mist. Just sayin'.
Generally speaking, you can't even aim an AA gun at ground level. Seriously, that's not what they are made for.

But I want to believe... :'(
Ok, I see your point. Seeing as I have never really seen a modern flak cannon... I'm basing my stuff on WW2 knowledge.

paranatural, Cheddarius took orange already. Because he claimed it earlier, you'll have to pick a new one. Until then you are lime green. One more slot is available for someone who wants to join. Nevermind, forgot to count Canalan.

@Cheddarius - I don't mind if you call it that, but for less confusion, its official name is still the U.S.A.. Neutral countries will have armies according to their size and economic groups.

I'll be updating the first post to include the units owned by each player as well as their starting money.

All right. I'll put the real name in brackets when I mention the fake name, then.

I decided that the formula for starting money is as follows.
(sizegroup*1000) + (incomegroup) + ($1000 if the previous total is less than $5000)

Buy units, everyone! Paranatural, your color can be changed whenever you pick one.

Hey, apparently nowadays only guided missiles are really used as AA. After all, shooting airplanes is... not very accurate.

America is sizegroup 4, I get $4000.
America is income $5000, I get an additional $5,000,000.
I purchase 100 layers of Barbed Wire ($1000 each).
I purchase 2,452 Airag Tanks (Heavy Armor).
I blow up the world.

Anyway, suppose I make some guys in the U.S. Does that mean it takes 3 turns to go to Mexico? Or do I assume that they're at the border and go to Mexico instantly?

Tarran, Germany starts with $9000. Where'd you get $5003000? Oh, I see. I forgot that the incomes are already in thousands. They're not, now.

Cheddarius, most units have movement of 3, therefore it takes 1 turn. Always assume your troops are on every border at once.

Hmmmmm...
But let's say a unit has 1 movement. I go from the U.S. to Canada in one turn, since naturally they just hop the border.
However, on the next turn, they are now on Canada's borders, correct? So I can go to Greenland in one turn.
So movement does not actually do anything.

Cheddarius, you still have to fix your units.

nope, because it takes 3 movements to get to every border at once. Thus, in one turn, you move to Canada and nowhere else. On the following turn, they may be able to take a ship to Greenland, but it would take 3 movement to move from a neighboring transport into the entirety of Greenland.
