Krimson, when you get some more Dwarfs could you train my wood guy in a bit of axefighting then switch him back to wood duties, just to up his chances of survival in dire times ? :)

Update, Heyguys is trying to outrun the werewolf,  Sorry m8 but your kinda a tard.  We have two seperate entrances both with a few well placed cage traps, And your just running around a lake away from the fortress.

I could train you in axe now if I could figure out how,  I could put you in the military and have you do individual drills sure,  But I dont know how well that works yet.

I've never gotten anyone but the starting two dwarfs to spar,  any advice when i get there?

Oh damn you're using 2010... Hmmm... not sure lol!. I think you just make sure you assign the barracks room for a training room in the barracks option screen or whatever, then make sure there is an arsenal dwarf, if they wont train through the military setup options then I guess you just have to hope they will train by themselves.

Coulda swore there was a report somewhere of a bug where if i draft you to the military you never go civvy again,  not sure if it still stands though.


Haha yea,  I was thinkin of usin 40d but I needed the practice with the new v.

Coulda swore I mentioned this was the newest version in my origional post.

m > c to create squad. Assign the dwarves you want to it. If you assign a barracks from a weapon rack or armor stand you can assign a squad to that barracks.
