I'm ashamed to admit this but the things in this world that I think are the worst are spiders. Scare the living daylights out of me.
That, and anything along the lines of violent, infectious diseases (mutated rabies in L4D).

That's a personal opinion. Just because something is explainable or conforms to scientific law as we know it doesn't mean it's not wondrous. I, personally, find the complexity of even the most basic of life to be wondrous.

But again, the idea of what wondrous means varies from person to person so it doesn't bare arguing about.

I understand it to the extent that science understands it. I don't just find the parts I don't get to be wondrous. For example, the heart - that's a pretty amazing piece of equipment. Atoms - astonishing.

On a totally different tangent the rising of the sun in the morning - wondrous for me and I know damn well why it happens.

Just because we don't know everything doesn't mean that the things we do know hold no amazement for us.

I really can't give you any advice because I'm not sure. Not everything is awesome, a lot of things are, so enjoy life as much as you can, that's all the help I can give. Since you seem perfectly happy as you are, I don't see why I need to help at all. As long as you're enjoying being alive.
