Mr.Person: I believe I've entered a vicious spiral downwards. What am I supposed to say? You'll think I'm scum anyway. I did enjoy this game, but people are stubborn. I don't quit when there's still a chance of living. Now, there's none. I wanted to quit when everyone seemed ignorant to Webadict's "I should seem like scum, no I'm not you are" post, I didn't, and a replacement now would seem pointless, no? And even scum wouldn't give up, it's just the way I play. You talk as if I'm no help at all, but look back, while I haven't done much, it's something. Useless towns don't exist.
And besides, it's my first game, how was I to know the outcome? I suppose I'm not a team player, but it's hard to do if you don't know who teammates are.

Think of it this way. Wouldn't the logical thing for a townie in your shoes to do be to try and convince everyone Webadict is scum? So why, exactly, are you not doing that?

I'd actually rather see you survive this; I don't see scum, I just see a new player, and it looks like you've got the makings to be a pretty good one.

Now, while you may be observant, just listing your observations isn't going to convince anybody. Take your observations, and turn them into an attack. The passive approach, the one you're taking right now, will get you lynched. Take the active one, and go attack the people you find suspicious.

Nag? But of course! Haven't you heard that giving you leeway is dangerous? I'd be out of my mind to do anything except give you a hard time.

I'm being so angry against your methods because they're not working. If you think they are, I will have to vehemently disagree with you. What positive results have you gotten from doing whatever the hell you were trying to do? None, as far as I can see. You've gotten yourself in the ring, and that's a bad place to start defending the methods that got you there.

Self-votes are always a bad idea, unless the vote confers some sort of advantage. The natural question is, what advantage are you trying to confer by voting yourself? This was a tactic you used successfully in Wizard Duel I. In that game, you were trying to curry favor with the town by volunteering to go into the ring. This was familiar behavior for a scum webadict, so I voted.  The furthest thought from my mind was that you were trying to get a response, and for the most part, I still think this is the case.

What response were you expecting to get? If that's the explanation you're going to use, I want to know what you thought you would get out of it.

There's a clear discrepancy in webadict's and GeneralGuy's skill level. You should be asking yourself, what would be better for the town? To get rid of webadict, or to get rid of GeneralGuy?

You should be assisting the way you want the match to turn out, according to the way you answered that question.

But I bet you're in a bit of a dilemma right now, which is why you're not taking sides. A townie wouldn't have a dilemma here, unless he thought both combatants were town of about equal skill level. But that's not what you said, so you're probably scum.

Or, is there more? Because once I'm lynched, and I come up TOWN (not mafia, SK, cult, jester, survivor, or lyncher), you can smash your head into your desk several times, okay? Okay.
