Topic: Holding a two handed weapon in one hand? (Read 1031 times)

So I just started, my guy is a Competent Swordsman and Fighter, and an Adept Thrower, and he's got a two-handed sword in one hand, and a shield in the other. Is he going to take a penalty for holding it in one hand? Abnd will he be better if he's two handed?

as far as i know there are no penaltys forn doing so.
after all you can lift any thing is one hand.

I'm pretty sure the fact you can hold all two handed weapons with one hand is a coding bug.

Yeah, like the maul and great axe. I'm pretty sure those are two-handers as well.

You get half your attacking roll or some such, I believe.

Oddly enough, with an average size of 70000, humans are large enough to wield all vanilla weapons one-handed, even two-handed swords. The highest that the two-handed value goes is 67500, so small or skinny humans may have trouble wielding the weapons in one hand.
