Oh goddamnit. I just counted fourteen forgotten beasts on the unit screen (that is, not counting the ones currently hiding somewhere).

This has reached stupid levels of ridiculous.

I'm getting rid of them.

YOU THERE. THE PARTY STOPS NOW. WE HAVE WORK TO DO.

Exactly! What could possibly go wrong? Except everyting, of course.

So we got monsters above, monsters below, dwarves in the middle and a party in the dining hall. Sounds good to me.
If all else fails, remember one thing:  kittens are delicious, nutritious little goblin-baiters, cavern explorers, and ambush-finders.

Had a couple more kids. Demonic Spoon's and Brak's.

I'm currently digging out magma forges, have mined out some adamantine and Chaos has been promoted to strand extraction duty.

EDIT: I'm going to design some sort of an airlock system that'll allow me to venture out into the caves. I'm thinking of complementing that with a trap that I could use to isolate forgotten beasts, then choose appropriate methods of killing them.

EDIT 2: I KNOW THE FUCKING STONE IS DAMP. IT'S BELOW THE FUCKING LAKE. I TOLD YOU TO DIG, YOU BASTARDS.

EDIT 3: Uh oh. Lapse just withdrew from society. And he's demanding shells.

I better make sure his tomb is prepared.

His parents are gonna be devastated.

Didn't catch a damn thing, fishing.

And fishing is quite out of the question now. Here be dragons, that sort of thing. Or poison-spewing glass golems with external ribs. Whatever.

To fish in the undergrounds the water seems to need a flow. Or thats what I have noticed when draining a Lake (Great little forest hidden under them) I saw fish indicators when the water moved so I guess thats the only way...

Next time you have a chance with some migrants, get them to build a quick Palisade around an above ground pond, then dig your way up to them...

Then leave them outside. They are Dwarves, they never build on the right side of anything, you know that...

So you wall them in, wait till they starve, and *then* dig up to the surface where they walled it off.
