Hehe, my army of children shall become the ruling elite in the dystopian future of this fortress! Millions shall die at their merest whim and my every wish shall be granted!

It seems DS is psychic.

Well obviously.  :P

Loving the updates nahkh, and heh, love the weird alchemy bug where a moody dwarf can make a iron artifact from nothing but bones.

Yeah that's frozen forgotten beast extract. Not quite sure how it got frozen, probably a bug.

EDIT:
Dwarf Fortress: The game whose bugs look like features, and features look like bugs.

I think that one was a fire-breathing one, but there's like three different forgotten beasts per cavern around here. So could be anything. They're all hiding at the moment so I can't even check.

It's probably one of those deadly dust ones. They breathe "frozen forgotten beast extract."

WE ARE THE FORGOTTEN. LOWER YOUR WALLS AND SURRENDER YOUR DWARVES. YOUR LIKES AND DISLIKES WILL BE ADDED TO OVERRULED BY OUR OWN.YOUR FORTRESS WILL ADAPT TO SERVICE US. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.

...So you're saying we should turn the fortress into a forgotten beast resort? Constantly feeding them kittens and migrants, building beautiful rooms for every one of them we attract, and building forgotten beast swimming pools and dining rooms? Using all our dwarves to keep our forgotten residents satisfied?

That might be for the best, anyways. Soon the forgotten beasts will outnumber our dwarves...

There's around ten different forgotten beasts to our twenty dwarves, half of which are children (half of which are demonic spoon's).

Well, we're safe for the moment I guess. If someone wanted to break in here they'd have to get past two fortifications (one carved in stone, one in block wall), fly up three levels and climb up the well. I'm currently building an emergency mechanism for dropping a block of stone from above on the well, sealing it for good.

Well, either that or poison the water. Then we'd be proper fucked.
