Had a whole bunch of migrants, again.
Silly migrants, when will you learn?

I ordered them to attack one of the skeletal elephants.
The operation was a complete success: Migrants are no longer a problem.

Anyway, due to the appearance of that one forgotten beast I finally have a use for that sucker that got picked last.
You, my friend, will be carving fortifications leading to the large pool of water.

Oh I don't believe this. It's another one of those horrible forgotten beasts. What's this, number ten?

This one's a quadruped made of filth and grime, and with poisonous vapors.

Argh. At least it's near the refugee camp.

Webs, huh...
Well anyway, get them all into an enclosed area and encase them in obsidian. It's the only way (to kill them RIGHT).

So we got monsters above, monsters below, dwarves in the middle and a party in the dining hall. Sounds good to me.
If all else fails, remember one thing:  kittens are delicious, nutritious little goblin-baiters, cavern explorers, and ambush-finders.

AXES MAN. AXES.

Anyway, for furnishings, my dwarf demands a nether-cap bed. Nothing else, just a nice cool place to sleep.

Urist is a member of clan DS, and his quarters are the top left ones, just below the parent's room.
And he has a death-cap bed. Will that do?

Nether-caps have a fixed temperature of 10000. They are my favorite tree. A black-cap bed is okay too.

I'll see what I can do.
Also,

EDIT:
Haha, Brak is ordering people to be jailed for failing his production orders.
Well, Brak, down here we have a thing called 'learning to do without'. I'm sure you'll grow into it.

You know?  I think the keggers might be the cause of your FB problems.  They just want to be invited to the party, but they're not afraid to crash it if they have to.

A child! Outside the clan DS. Ossum.

Surely, this new generation of dwarves will be much stronger than the previous one. After all, they have never been a victim of the dreaded Sun, and have lived all their lives in the protective care of the great deeps. Soon, our army of pure darkness will rise, and conquer the surface world! Onwards my soldiers! STOP THROWING UP IN FORMATION!
