Bingo, good to see another one of these.

Name: Fre "Cookie" Blackflag
Race: Dwarf
Skills: Proficient Cook/Brewer
Combat Preference: Let's give 'em a taste of me cold steel tipped crossbow!
Bio: A cook who has traveled the world searching for new exotic dishes and spices.  He keeps a chest full of the rarest and most exquisite spices he finds on his journeys, and intends to one day make, as he calls it, "my Feast," the culmination of all his skill and knowledge, with the use of all his precious spice possessions.  Sailed with another crew on Fresh-Prince of Tallair, and was hired as a mercenary to defeat the lizardmen.  He and his crew-mates did so, and now Cookie is back on the high seas.

Figure of 8! I'll have the turn soon. I'm also gonna drag in some of the players from the original as NPCs. That's right, you'll be on the same seas as Ozzymandis or however you spell it.

Re: ARRRRRR T D II-High Seas. TURN ?-GUESS WHO'S BACK
« Reply #18 on: May 09, 2010, 04:43:18 am »

For the record of it, if you were a captain in the past, you aren't now for whatever reason. Oh, and I intend to use Roman Numerals, but there isn't one for 0.

TURN ?-GUESS WHO'S BACK

The 8 of you are sat around a table, Fre telling the story of time with Boozebeard, Toonymanner and the rest of his friends. It's a very interesting tale, when suddenly, BANG. The door is blown off it's hinges, and in steps First Mate Axle "Two Holes" Gear himself! "Ah, Cookie! I didn't know you'd be here!" "Eh, my culinary career didn't take off well. Why you here, of all places?" "Tooneymanner wants recruits. Want to come back for old times sake?" "Definitely!" And that's how your adventure on the Fugly Duckling began.

I'd recommend going straight to the Duckling.

Taverns always have weird names.  Manifest contradictions like "The Married Bachelor," "The Round Square" and "The Sober Dwarf" are fairly common.  Still, it's good to be out of there.

Make for the ships!

So uh, that means I don't get to join with my old guy or what?

Or do I come back again?

If you come back, I simply switch you out with your NPC variant. Unless you want to start from scratch.

Ask the bartender if he would have a pouch of tabaco, a roll of paper and a piece of flint and write an IOU slip for them, then continue to the ship. Also marvel at Axle's power armour if i see him.
