Char13mange, I haven't forgotten about you.  You've been active since my last post and still haven't done anything.

Yeah yeah, I'm coming, where do you young folk get your energy *cough* *hack*

Criptfeind. You did pretty well last game. But... what are you doing now?

I don't really know what you mean, if it is because of the less posts that is because I was going though a hard time during that game and I was escaping away from life by playing the computer. Now I don't have as much time.

You vote, ask a question, vote, ask a question, vote, ask a question. Commendable for trying, but one question is hardly going to make the difference in seeing who's what.
So what are you doing?

Although I see what you mean let us vote and not say anything, or say stuff but not vote. It is sure to work.

Anyone else think we have an activity problem?

Question for Diablous, because I haven't bugged you yet:  Of the people in this game you have played with, who best served the town?

Yes.

As for your question, I've played with 4 of these guys before, all in the original BMX. Cript and Spitfire were the scum then, Cript was convincing and tore an experienced player that sub'd in a new one verbally, Spit was somewhat convincing; and they mislead the town. Jokerman struck me as somewhat weak there, but he managed to figure out Cript was using a scummy townie called Azulth as a scapegoat, so he wasn't too bad. Too bad he was killed on night 1. Last is Siquo. He was very aggresive there, but when day 1 ended, his top 3 list had both of the scum in it, and me. I did not do well on day 1. I would say Siquo helped the town the best.

I mean how do you get information enough by just asking one question? What are your opinions of the people you questioned so far, and how did you come to those conclusions?

Well I know where my vote is staying until something happens otherwise.

Char13magne, just popped in said hi, and still didn't contribute anything. So if we lynch him its a win/win situation, either he's scum, or he's just plain inactive, even though he's obviously "around."

Am I wrong here everyone?

I seemed to miss his last post, I will go over this thread again with more questions.

I do not have enough info but I am finding some things enlightening, such as (now that I see I missed his post) how you are acting completely different in regards to your attack (at lest on me) than you did last game.

This all seems very "chill"

Well Siquo, for one, I don't see the giant billboard that says you must begin with a question, and Toaster asked a fairly meaningless question for the hell of it type of question that we don't really know the answer to. Although given the size of the game, it's probably two.

It is pointless and unhelpful to not ask a question.

Umm, yes. I made a joke regarding your sig. Joking is what Jokerman do.

Stop. Don't joke, mafia needs 100% from each player to work and be fun.

spitfire, you're talking too much.

Why the fuck are you attacking someone for talking too much? And than you say:
"You're scumhunting and being active too much so you must be scum!"

You attack him for doing what you are doing? Really? "You cant attack but I can!" Really? I don't think it is ever a bad thing for people to talk.

1. Talking too much is something entirely different than being active, and is relative. You talked more than in previous games, that's all.
2. Overactiveness is hardly to never scummy. In my experience, the overactive players get lynched the most on day 1 (remember Org?), but haven't been scum at all.
3. Irrelevant questions do help. It gets people to talk. Relevant questions are better, but there really aren't many relevant questions when we start.
4. Why are you suddenly so nervous?

What you are doing now is certainly not helping town. You are here, claiming that "activity is bad" and "asking a lot of questions is bad". Remember that a lot of them here only have 0 or 1 game under their belts, and don't have an exact idea of what to do.

Again, to everyone else: Do not let him frighten you into lurking or make you stop asking questions. That's what the scum wants you to do. Active players get killed off the first, during the night, because they are the real threats.

God damn it. What the hell are you thinking you hypocrite?

I have a couple suspicions, but I think I'd like to see a little bit bit more out of them first.  Anyone who gives off a vibe taking for granted that they're town is suspicious in my book. A couple people in here are doing that. Often from some of the other games I've watched, the lead inquisitor that states all the reasons why people are or aren't town is often the scum. But trying to put out a suspicion list like others have done here would just be disingenuous.

Um no. First thing a Towny needs to do is kill scum. Than they need to protect Townies that can help the town more than them. Than they can worry about living.

It is soooo scummy to say who you think is scum. Complete honesty is a great way to go for the town.

he may or may not have been buddying on me as an attempt to make me look scummy when he explained my lack of posts.

Last BMX we really almost had a lynch because a guy did not post for six hours.

Cript and Spitfire were the scum then.

Ah, that was a fun game.

So you know, Siquo is a hypocrite.

And Criptfeind has just explained what the hell I have been going on about for the last 2 days, making more sense than I did in the process.
Thanks for that.

Siquo is behaving differently to me, a strange vibe that I don't really like. Different from what I'm used to from him. Or is it normal for you to be aggressive like this Siquo? So aggressive you become hypocritical?
Perhaps, but what am I to know at this stage. Not a hell of alot.

Um what? Read the question much?

So.. its scummy to say who you think is scum, but when I was asked who I thought was scum and didn't say, just saying I has suspicions, somehow that is bad because it isn't complete honesty.

First of all, what you just typed there means absolutely nothing.. of course you're trying to kill scum, that's the point of the game!  But how you go about it changes every game, and that townie you think you're protecting because he's so good at finding scum, might just be the scum you're looking for.  Point is, aside from getting to know the way people play and their general personality, I can tell enough about this that there isn't just a template you can follow as you try to play it.  So get off your suddenly attained high horse, even I do agree with some of the things you said in that wall of quotes..

Scum or condescending townie, whatever you happen to be... both just as bad for the cause of winning as far as I'm concerned.

As far as trying to protect myself, heh, I could care less.   Go ahead and start a bandwagon to lynch me, and find out my true identity, who knows maybe it'll help to find scum.

you hypocrite?
Have you at all read why I said spit talked too much? I guess not. Here it is again: relative based on what he did before in other games.

But this is an interesting turn.

Every single person I attacked so far, has OMGUSed. Interesting, but useless if everyone does it.
The chances of both you and spit both being scum again are too slim, but now I have to wonder, who of you is making use of the suspicions of the other?

Cript, you have a nonsensical wall of text, attacking me on only one point that's clearly been taken out of context. Your attempts to "educate the masses" on who is scummy and who is not apparently have had no effect. Having spitfire behind you should get things rolling though, at least you didn't start the bandwagon, did you?

But then comes spit with his "bad vibe"... You can't both be scum again... right?

No, spit is all too happy you went along with him. Way too happy.
