Well i tested the Ast'rah against my Strike Frigates, it was 3 to 1 simply because it's a dreadnaught and these were heavy frigates, it is somewhat easy to destroy when you try, focus firing and switching targets is a must if you want to destroy it in a short time. Also it can be that the strike frigates are a bit OP with four twin autocannons, two mini missle pods, two impeders and four PD beams, so most of the time they would destroy it's shots before they hit them

Could you give me some extra armor, and one of those things that shoot a swarm of missiles. Posting from phone, so can't check.

Ottofar: A Gluon Bolter?

Yeah, the Astra'Ath has some piece heirarchy issues too- you can cut it in half at some places and it'll be fine. [godhood injoke]However, it is weak to beams [/godhood injoke]

:P

I really should focus more while building. >_>

EDIT: To Jopax up there; that does sound a bit overpowered, but the Astra'ath isn't supposed to be impossible to destroy. I wasn't trying to build an indestructible god of battle anyhow.
It's just good your ships can beat it. I just use swarms of ships against it, works too.

Armor and blasters.

I want the Avalanche to be a massive armored box covered in blasters.

Blegh, these turned out even more ugly than your usual armoured ships. What's wrong with good old-fashioned health upgrades?

In my defense, I was concerned about the guns hanging off the edge of the ship getting picked off.

I think you can shoot off guns no matter where they are, actually. >_>

EDIT: I seem to be suffering from writer's block... I'm having a hard time thinking up the next battle.

Maybe you could have them raid a shipyard and swipe some ships to recoup their recent losses.

Also, if you're worried about the ships looking ugly, maybe I could try and do the armor on them.

Hmm, that sounds pretty good. I might just do that.

And no, I want the ships to look ugly, that's the price you pay for your... your filthy 'armour plating'.

Fine. I'd rather be alive than pretty anyway.

Command’s captured a Remnant supply ship and decrypted the necessary approach codes.
This might just be our only chance in turning the war around in your favour.
An undercover SpecOps team will infiltrate the Shipyards of Minos and take control of the repaired Remnant ships there. The 7th Fleet will pop in to cover their escape, distracting the enemy until the captured Remnant ships are ready to Jump and then join them.

---

SpecOps Leader: All units are in place, 7th Fleet, but we've taken casualties. The Remnants know we're here, so... we'd be more than glad to see you guys here already.

The message reaches you and you make the Jump.

How will you proceed?

EDIT: The real reason for why the Tornis is so huge; a single section, incredibly far away from all others.
Enjoy.

What the..?

I'll go look into that section.

Edit: I can't fix the problem, as the section is somewhere out of the bounds of the editor program.

Found some other problems as well.

I'll remake the Tornis for the next upgrade.
