As a devout grammar nazi, I dislike how it reads "dwarfs" instead of "dwarves" in that Therapist screenshot. As such, the program, no matter how sweet it looks, promotes illiteracy. A crime punishable by magma shower.

So why do they pick the only female to clean the fish?

The vulgarity of the explanation i can provide is probably not allowed on this forum.

Just know that I am laughing.

As a grammar nazi then, you should realize that dwarfs was the accepted spelling before Tolkien used dwarves so that it wouldn't look odd next to elves. Dwarfs is still an accepted alternate spelling, and in some cases still the proper spelling.

The more you know!

In fact, Tolkien wrote part of the Oxford dictionary before he started writing Lord of the Rings. When called on 'dwarves', he pointed out he was the one writing the dictionary.

That's the great thing about this forum. We can derail any discussion into any other topic.
It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

But I don't want to take a magma shower :(
Knives, wolves, wives, leaves, calves, shelves, hooves. Dwarves. Elves. :|
This is the natural order of things. One day there will be chieves and prooves, among other things ( :P ). This is the only logical way for the language to develop. In fact, I'd prefer "dorfs" over "dwarfs". Or "dorves", actually.
The more I look at the title of this thread, the more I know in my heart that all this is on topic.

Anyway. It's important to keep the fish clean, and to clean your fish every day. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some migrants to drown.

Damn, lucky guy, kind of like Vault 69 in Fallout.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Lucky? 99 women living in the same space, that's not a recipe for a Lunar Apocalypse or anything.

Well, there's no moons in DF yet... and besides, he can just have a little crevice he keeps stocked with booze and plump helmets like a bomb shelter, then wall it up for  a few days and hope for the best.

That's the point, it wouldn't be as fun to crush their souls if they didn't have souls to begin with.
