A fun tangent: What are the strangest names in your family tree?

Our family had a set of triplets back in the mid 1800's named Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Fun times, back when the Anglo population in the US was big into Hebrew names. Think we had a Zipporah too. And a Pinckney:

I'd guess something along the lines of "Alyssa". Pretty common female name these days. (Although that site claims that "Alyssa" may come from the Greek a lyssa, meaning "against rabies")

Heh, I bothered to do a basic google search for my family origins, and turns out that I come from sort of a noble "ironmonger" family. Which gives me the dwarfiest name, except that "noble" and "metalworking" don't go together for dwarves.

Close, but not quite--and no.  Father got masters in Mechanical Engineering (heat transfer) and Labor History; my mom has a BS in art.  Yes, that's right.  A science degree in art, specifically ceramics, metalworking, and blockprints.  If anyone guesses it right, I'll tell the entire story (complete with the odd and terrible alternatives they considered).

Absolutely not.  I'm the only person with my name that I've met (or seen in any of my school directories), and most of the people I meet can't pronounce it, either.
