Excellent. I've read this entire thread and it was heart lifting to see how quickly (nearly immediately) our elected admin for this game did the exact same thing everyone complained about for the first 20 pages.

I would have killed the magic goat too, maybe you get admin powers if you eat an admin. Or something. Maybe you should have all the players partake of your flesh as apology. An admin-messiah starting a voluntary cannibal cult with benefits seems like something people around here could appreciate as good RP or perhaps it's just how the sheer, unbridled power to affect every cow's life would corrupt me if I was in the position you are in.

I've been busy lately or I'd give this game a try. I hope you get the source from those guys we don't like for some reason (?) and I support you emotionally, if not physically or monetarily.

The leaked source is old, but even so, I'd rather not send it out without at least one the Cowed devs permission.

Well, the leaked source isn't Data's, so he cant really complain about it being out there.

There is an alternative...

Create an entirely new source and set of icons, put it on a new hub, and only take the concept and overall structure of the game from cowed. After having a copy of it, then start adding more features and *improving* it past them. However, it would take a huge ammount of effort...

I would love to have Dwarfed.

You were wondering about spriters. About the only thing I could do is edit stuff made by other people, and I'm pretty sure that's not the kind you're looking for unfortunately.

Dwarfed would be great.
We could work Z levels more into it,  for complex mines and the like. And possibly add HFS.
Less ocean, possibly a dwarf and elf mode...

Increase boat max size too! ( and possibly allow non square boats. and give them ability to have z-levels).

a single level size 15 square ship is not nearly enough for a crew of more than 5 people. 3 if you want them to have private rooms.

unless you cut on cannon space, but what is the point then?

Ballistas instead of canons.

Better crafting system.

When you build a boat you can then build a steering wheel separately (steering a boat from different parts? That could cause some problems with people turning the wheel where you don't want it across the boat... perhaps just have one per boat but you can put it in any location =P)

I was somewhat hoping, that if we got the Cowed code, that we could make what you guys are calling "Dwarfed". From scratch works too, since we could implement a better engine.

Sadly, I wouldnt be able to help code....but I cpuld Beta Test it.
