Better idea:
Everyone gets 100 gold to start and it is stored on a key basis like the RP points and crap.
You then get a verb to access your coin purse where you can take out X coins.
You make money from getting it from other players etc...
Ways to get more gold into the system:
Admins would give it out like RP points to places.
Also maybe there has to be a way for royalty and shit to redisperse the wealth because with this system,
1.play king
2.order super taxing
3.promise guards much gold for much taxing
4.???
5. GREIF PROFIT!

Current problem with "shopping" is that gold/copper is rather useless. Yes, it makes keys, and yes, copper can be made into plate armour via a blacksmith....but thats it.

Also, people make their own money, which makes money rather worthless. I was thinking that, we could have something like a "Coin Master" or some other RP name. He would be way up in the royalty ranking, and would turn melted copper/gold into coins. The money would be stored somewhere in the castle, and the guards would get payed with this money.

The guards would then spend the money at the shops, therefore putting money into the system.

Problem is that, well....its easally exploitable, and if he/she goes afk, bad stuff happens. However, it could probably be balanced, this is just a basic idea I came up with.

Also, since im posting an idea post, might as well slap down some of my other ideas.

"Reanforced stone wall"....takes 1 molten iron and 1 stone. It requires multible tools and would likely take several minutes to take down. This would replace the castle walls, also.

This is to discourage theft, which occurs a lot. I cant leave my shop without something being stolen.

Chests/Cabinets should also require like 2 wood, and one molten iron. They would require about 4 minutes to break, unless they are open. Multible tools, ect. If open, takes like 30 seconds.

Food is too easy to collect, also. Kind of ruins the point of a shop when everyone can easally get food. Farming should take 3x as long, and 1.5x as long for a farmer? Fishing should require some kind of bait, perhaps berries for goldfish, and goldfish for bass, bass for shark. If fishing poles are creatable, regular peoples would require twice as much bait, and perhaps twice as long.

It be nice if trees could be easaly cleared, like  veins. Perhaps with a sledgehammer?

Stairs can be used to go over walls. With current physics of having stone floors levitating one Z-lv up, I would rather just remove the upper z-lv.

And thats about all my ideas ive been holding back. XD

Royal Tax Collectors/Royal Banker (Idea One)

Masons could make these reinforced walls with 5 stone. The current wall goes down in 10 hits...make it 50 to take down this wall.

Rest of ideas are good.

1. Play King
2. Order Taxing 0.0023 seconds into the game.
3. Guards start to work!
4. ? ? ?
5. PISSED OFF PLAYERS! Banning! PROFIT!

I love strike-throughs xD

It's probably just normal BYOND whineniness. Either that or opposing change, because they just want continual stagnation.

I mean, all their games are basically carbon copies of other ones.

Cow RP and Cowed are two different games, and most of the players from each community have differed opinions than their other.
Depending on whom from Cow RP, you might have caught a few of the sour players from CRP.
Cowed has its share also, but most of the really bad ones have moved on to bigger and better things.

How different differences are we talking about here, more/less features? Interface? Community attitude? Some of these fellow strikes me as violent anarchists disillusioned with the lack of firm enforcement of prescribed roleplaying tenets.'

Addendum: McBeefy is not an acceptable name but Leltos is? Leltos doesn't even mean anything, it's a nonsense sound. Names have meaning, god damn it. Darn fools.

Well if the stars align and Cowed does become open sourced (HAH!), here are a few suggestions.

A crafting system that doesn't make me want to kill myself. And is internally consistant. (Instead of a completely different method seemingly randomly assigned to each object, the Craft Verb combine X with X window has got to go.)

Once that is in place, we can work on expanding the various trees of craftsmithing, like blacksmithing, woodsmithing, clothsmithing foodsmithing and whatever else you can think of.

Changing coins to ingots would be a nice start.

Land-based boats, maybe.. Or like, carts. (Which will devolve into tank battles)

Metal walls and floors (see above)

And beards.

Cows with beards.

Like yaks, or something.

Addendum:
Damn it, I want depths, screw the whiny nay-sayers who hates new things, know who else hated new things? DINOSAURS! And they're dead for it! Give me crafting, glassworking, leatherworking, gem-smiths pearl divers, fishing nets, and ranged weapons for the win, slingshots, weak bows, composite bows, rare trees, magical glades! Haunted forests, cursed ancient battlefields! Ley-lines! Potions!

* Urist McBeefy has canceled post: too insane *

addendumdum:
Chickens, farming that works, simplified meat production, wild-life that respawns, bonesmithing! PLOWS! toolsmithing! siege engines! traps! Simulations of fire as they blaze through dry grass and wood buildings that are built too close together! Death to the shanty town slums! Fountains! Sewers! Water flows!

* Urist McBeefy has canceled post: too dead *

Aw, damn it. Cheap shot dude, cheap shot...

On the topic of gold coins: Couldn't we just give the king or archbishop a stamp that allows them to make the coins official?

Adminhelp: THE KING WON'T STAMP MY COINS! AHHHHH!
Adminhelp: ADMIN. STAMP THESE COINS!

(If you think I'm joking, you should know this:
People have asked me to make a nine square farm for them, just because they were too lazy. I told them how to, and they wouldn't stop asking.)

Onto the McBeefy subject.

In the rules(somewhere) it states that no cow-related names are to be used, this includes: Cowston, Bovine.. etc.
