So, does anyone want to actually discuss the gameplay of this fine game instead of arguing over the future of the game? Also,I believe rope bridges are the true key to naval combat. And stairs.

Nope, building a boat, putting fence around the edge, load some cannons, and then you've got a naval battle.

we could have blueberry pies, apple pies, different cakes, stuffed scones.

A [D] tag is fine...but you still have Data wanting to be in control of every server.

How about if he does anything inexcusable, we remove the tag? Simple.

Yeah, but when you've got a naval battle where you want to outmaneuver someone rope bridges are the way to go. Also, how do you build cannons anyway?

I agree with the 'D' tag thing, but I would rather if power was not transferred.
ALSO: The only way B12 will do anything in the form of taking over if the original server does not pump out updates(that people like)

Maybe bridges should be destroyable by boats of a certain size? Like 3? They are only made out of rope and wood after all.

Yet, if you take it graphic wise, boats are just single decked rafts. Doesnt seem like it would break a good rope bridge, unless its going down a river.

Also, been wanting to put my input on this whole conversation. If, and if, Bay12 gets a server going, it would probably end up something like a MMO Dwarf Fortress. Which would be quite awesome, if I may say so.

Question: How does one create a spear/fishing rod?

Knife + Wood
Knife + Stone
Sharp Stone + Pole

Fishing poles aren't makable. Only spears.

regarding the boat, while it does seem to only be 1 deck, the rope bridge is also a bridge that you can carry around with you and drop in the water. Making delays for these things would be nice. The boat too, you shouldn't be able to take 150 logs and throw them all out into the water at once and they magically turn into a boat with a wheel.

Best ship = semi-large (size 4-5)
Then add secret doors as your walls. Instant cannon port!
Windowed walls work too, if you don't wanna be boarded. Just open the window and shoot through it.

Responce to my post ....

Ah, sorry, I came out more hostile then I intended.
First, I'm not trying to threaten you, as I stated in my edit, I'm not actually that interested in cowed.
Second, Even if I was, I would not support source-stealing, even if it was by bay12.
Third, All I'm saying is that if you open-source you will lose control, cowed is a part of the byond community after all.

Again, sorry if it came out as overly hostile.
