Just sent my $5. I felt bad about it until I read Jack_Bread's post. :P

Well worth it though. I never really had any intention of buying any of these games, and I'm not that interested in them, but I simply couldn't pass something like this up, and indie devs definitely deserve any contributions they can get. Oh, and yeah, charities and stuff. They're also good. :3

Because I'm weird and a Windows user, I donated 13.81$ to one-up the average Linux contribution at that moment.

I actually have World of Goo already, but I'm somewhat interested in the rest of the games and I've been wanting to try Gish for a looong time. So anyway, my contribution was mainly for supporting a great idea and a good cause.

EDIT: Hmmm, with 530 000$ split evenly between the causes, it gives everyone 176 772$ and that split five-ways between the devs gives each 35 354$. Niiice. I love how things this fair are so profitable too. And there's still 3 days to go! I wonder what the big devs will have to say.

Just pointin out, on the video at 1:17, if they reach 1,000,000 they will release the source code for Penumbra, Lugaru and Gish. I asked John at Wolfire about this and he said they would.

Ended up paying $20.  Gish is as bad as I remembered, it feels vaguely like a Sonic game except it's less fun than even the first one.  World of Goo isn't my favorite bridge-building game by far, but it has its merits...I guess.  Aquaria is fun.  Save often.

Nice surprise today, they added Samorost 2 to the bundle after getting in contact with the designers.

12 hours left now, with the tally at $862,154 and 97,531 contributors. I paid 30 bucks split equally.

I already got World of Goo when 2dboy had their own "pay what you want"-athon, but they've been good at promoting indie development in general so I don't mind giving them a few extra $$ (2 to be exact).

After playing Aquaria for an hour or two I've decided I love it. If it wasn't for this campaign I wouldn't even know the game even existed. Wonderful atmosphere and the gameplay is very polished and immersive.

Gish is OK, hampered by somewhat clunky controls which is a drawback since the control scheme is the whole point of the game. It's a nice little platformer.

Lugaru is totally insane.

Penumbra seems very good so far, I'll probably make use of the "whole collection for 5$" coupun. Haven't played far enough to find anything scary yet.

Samorost 2 is cute but not the kind of game I'd usually bother with unless it's a free flash game. Very relaxing and pleasant to the eye though. Reminds me of the old Gobliiins games.

Damn, up to $864,550 and 97,773 contributors just in the time it took me to write this post. Wouldn't be surprised if they extended the deadline a bit.

At first I thought this was cool, but then I started thinking about the games in the bundle.  I've heard that World of Goo, Gish and Lugaru are pretty much crap.  Aquaria and Penumbra are a little bit better.  I've played both of them, but I still didn't like either one that much.  Aquaria was a let-down, probably Derek Yu's worst game, I've enjoyed "Eternal Daughter" and "Spelunky" far more.  Penumbra felt like a cheap Resident Evil or other horror game.

So, yeah, I don't think any of them are worth even a penny to hog up more of my precious hard drive space.
