I've heard about it a lot from people who like the same thing I do. I don't really have the patience for long webcomics, though, so from the first few panels, doesn't seem like my thing.

From a quick look over 5ish pages it seems like her breasts are constantly growing/shrinking.

Quick way to make it hilarious is to imagine that they are actually shrinking and growing in a constant cycle and the entire time they're squeaking like chew toys. Just, through every panel and line of speech, Grow *squeak* shrink *squeak*

Yeah the main character and the Baron's kid are Mary Sues and it's horribly irritating. The cluttered detailed art style is intentional and I like it. I heard about the artist Foglio back in old issues of Dragon Magazine, and heard about his adult work later. That stuff is pretty decent too, although if you're paralyzed with squick at 4chan it's about 20% of that. Nothing worse than everything else on the Internet ;P

My main problem with it is that it feels like it's written by several steampunk cosplayers who have too much caffeine and stayed up all night playing The Sims.

That said, it's free and it might be worth the time it takes to read. What more do you expect?

Yea, the main characters are basically mary sue, but the world, background and humor are introduced in a way that kept me reading... and the mains forgivable.

I agree, most of the characters are sues. I also liked the style in the first chapter, where it's all black and white, as opposed to the other ones.

Heh, same here. Finished at 9 this morning... And its a good thing too, I barely got my calc project done in time for my noon class! Pretty good art style, awesome backstory, and I would agree that the main plots are a bit meh.

when i first started reading this way back when, I gave up after a chapter or two. I'm glad I came back to it later and caught up. Yes the main characters are mary sues but the whole thing has an excessive charm about it that makes it fun and interesting. I ask myself "Ok, what convulsively awesome thing is next?

Also. if everyone (all main characters) are mary sues, then are any of them really mary sues? Seriously, Even Othar is a mary sue that could probably survive the world exploding.

I like that all the sparks are bat-shit insane while all the regular people kinda just bear it. Its so funny when they finally have enough and do something about it (like the guy with the bucket in the most recent pages)
