I have read it to the point where they are in the castle, meet some people there and castle starts to guide her to repair it.

I gave up there - as much as I love the art (the coffee machine episode rocks), I hate the story - there are still new and new goals... I would prefer no story at all or short closed episodes and not this "hm ... they got where they needed, so something bad will happen so they could go somewhere else" system.

I always thought it went the reverse way, that if you get advanced enough science, with little to no moving parts and 100% mechanical efficiency, that that would seem like magic.

I haven't read alot but so far it seems to follow an annoying mary sue who spends her time inflating massive speech bubbles and being lost with in cluttered artwork.

And that's the point. I think, anyway. It's mainly the humour of it all.

The annoyingness of the protagonist... wears off after a while. I guess.
