Why won't my dwarves eat?? [i have food]

They have been starving and they are not eating any food so wtf is happening? oh and it's not "urist mcminer has cancelled eat due to crow"

Is your food set to dump? Forbidden? Is it reachable? No locked doors or anything? Are you sure you have food? Dwarves don't eat rocks.

Yes im sure i have food and it is not forbidden and it is reachable.

Need more details. To my knowledge, there aren't any bugs involving dwarves specifically ignoring food (unless you count their increased enthusiasm for work, but some consider this a feature ;) -- if this is the case, try cancelling jobs for hungry/starving dwarves and they should seek to fulfill their basic needs as normal).
