Ok, the next pic is moving down because I think this is much more epic and dwarfly. I just accepted a mission to fight a dragon, I thought I'd be slaughtered, but luckily my canon fodder turned out not to be as suckish as I thought. The bowman died ofc, but me and the mace man pounded on the dragon... My human mace man fought the dragon with a bronze flail, while I used a more conventional weapon, a mutilated elf corpse. The corpse was in near mint condition, only missing a head, and so it served as an excellent bludgeoning tool. I shattered all of the dragons bones, vigorously beating it with the dead elf that had served as my awesome weapon for over 150 elf kills. Finally, the dragons skull was jammed through it's brain and it was struck down...

I have a new weapon.

Its a dead elf that was being used as a weapon, but a dead dragon is even cooler.

At first it was a dead elf. Now it's a dead dragon.

Imagery: A three foot dwarf wielding a 20 foot dragon, walking through town and using it to smash elves into the dirt wherever they may be.

Update: Best weapon ever. Can send elves flying backwards from the force of the impact, as well as always shattering bones and often damaging organs and causing internal bleeding. Ftw.

I've once choked a named alligator with a rock, then used it as a club to kill a giant rat, then used the giant rat as a flail to kill another giant rat, and attempted to kill an ogre or giant with the corpses. It didn't end well.

some how after the chain of events from mining under a dwarven home right to the bottom to trying to take back the place again (and failing) lead to one adventuring gentle bronze to a epic journey of thrill and to prove to every one that 'she' is not a living statue bent on rampage.

 it all started when I tried to go back to the abandon mountain home (after seeing if the rumor of hidden floors and instant but empty fort was true. well it was not.) Rinth Spreadround lost some ability to use her arms from attacking 6 demons only killing 3 after leaving the area.  she soon wonder the wilds north to try increase her strength. end up in a goblin fortress filled with human's and goblins alike. this place was vast and tired the tall walking metal right before she would have giving up on a quest one bump right into her in a twisted form of Mule. the demon gave her a task of slaying a hydra. knowing well that a battle against one would lead to one turning into a statue of a cat purring in a forest she turn and ask the local members of the goblin fort to join. only two agree one crossbowman with sliver arrows and a crossbow and one hammerer with a sliver hammer. now the hydra was a short walk north, and travel right into the cave it self. yet before she could find the hole to the cave the hydra presented it self right before her. her companions both veterans in the field quickly rush the hydra. not to look like a wimp she grab the hydra blood and slap it a little before switching to the loom. her improvise weapons hardly place a dent on the beast unlike the arrows and hammer. 2 hours past in the fight and the hydra suffocated from the hammer being stuck in it's lung killing it. rinth had successfully completed her first quest... even if she never got the kill. after a trip back to the goblin fort to report she couldn't bring the energy to walk around the place as well as before. so after leaving the place she got ambushed by wolves whom must found her from all the blood. she wasn't in any danger with her two strong men but the crossbowman dodge wrongly and ended up drowning in a murky pool. Rinth dive into the pool, and move over to his wet body. the goblin's crossbow was not sliver as his companions hammer, but almost the same color as her skin.
the crossbow called to her "Rinth, I will be your arms, your fists. Metal close to metal never flesh nor bone. Wield me!"
She grabbed the crossbow from dead comrade and move on south to see if she can find another quest to do.

during her long trek as walk up to a group of royal elves escaping from the north. Rinth greeted the group and ask if she can tag along it was a nice travel which lead to a nicer resort. the elven resort seem to have a couple of dwarves living there and it's peaceful.

well was peaceful, her only surviving companion lash out on a bunch of elven kids with his hammer killing 3. the shock threw rinth out of reality she never seen such violence on another sentient being (that did not look like a animal in a twisted form). she was frozen watching the goblin kill 2 more kids what would seem to be 30 minutes turn into hours as the blood kept increasing. the screams will echo her hollow frame as she will never forget that memory.

"Looks like some lucky cod got a statue out of that hell hole." said the migrating jeweler.

The jeweler then quickly turn around and vanish into the forest. Rinth found her sense and search for the man. The jeweler in the corner of his eye caught glimpse of the statue before moving, "Armok's cabinet, It's an Colossus!" he thought as he ran into a knot in a tree blacking out. spreadround saw rotten remains of a dwarf around the old fort she went and the last time she saw one alive it* save her life. "Fear not, fellow dwarf I can't do much with a broken elbow and shoulder."

the moment is from looking back at the events leading to after finally retiring the lass and knowing that I wouldn't have got where I was with just adventure mode. the moment is with Rinth seeing the elven band she met 2 years ago wanting her dead in the middle of battle filled with elves fighting dwarves and humans on their land. after they get kill off by some random fisherdwarf, only to find out later that you enter an age of the mountain titan and You when the goblin companion kill the hydra.

My first adventure's child wasn't as epic as this... second, maybe but she was a unique.

Am I the only one that noticed the dragon corpse got lodged in the wound??

Sadly it's only an elf corpse, not a dragon one.
Not like it changes the infeasibility of such an event, but I wanted to just clear that up.
This reminds me when one of my early adventurers managed to lose their spear and was instead using a cougar/leopard corpse (can't remember which). Sadly he got struck down by a wolf pack soon after...

It greatly amuses me that corpses can get lodged in wounds. I beat a wolf to death with my fists and picked up its corpse, only to come across a cougar and lodge the corpse in the cougar's wound...
