Etheric sciences. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic, so why not skip the "sufficiently advanced" part and go right to the magic.

Your argument is solid and convincing.

8 to ethric sciences (magic)
2 to zoology
1 to paranormal Studies
1 to Alchemistry
0 to steam
5 to physics
1 to Transdimensional fluctuation
1 to Criptozoology
take that physics but this is no big surprise since the ethric defies physics

I'd go along with etheric sciences, too, if we can agree to call it etheric consistently. :D

Was that a vote or a statement? :)
Both :P
Provided we can agree upon its name, I'm happy to endorse etheric sciences over physics.

we will and always have called it etheric sciences

In which case can I agree to call it ethric so you vote for physics again? :P

...yes. :P
I could have my vote constantly goes towards whichever has fewer votes. >D
Or I vote for the pair of them, but the pair of them are already way more popular than any others, so that doesn't make much of a difference.

However, at this point I'm more keen for the game to start, and in light of:
we will and always have called it etheric sciences
I'll leave my vote drifting in the ether[ic sciences].

Etheric Sciences it is!

You pen a most wonderful if blotchy License to Science. From secret hiding places in your manor you withdraw the tools of magic; glowing stones and powdered bones, rare woods and precious metals. These you deposit in an unused sitting room which you shall make into your new lab.
You then set of to acquire the tools of your secondary discipline.
Which was...

PS: It doesn't matter what you foolish peasants call it, I am calling it Etheric Sciences.

Transdimensional fluctuation!

This should go well with Etheric sciences (that or paranormal)

Physics for secondary! After all, combining magic and physics is an easy way to break the world at will!

Whatever has to do with cosmic horrors, and discovering knowledge thereof.

Not much of an applicable science, mostly research based, but should combine quite well with the Etheric sciences I think.
