Saragoth attempts to open the door again, which he does. However, he pulls to hard, loses his balance, and begins to tumble down the staircase (6). He hits his head hard, loses consciousness, and is poised to tumble into the lake below (1)...

... when Ochita, coming up to help him, grabs him and pulls him back onto the stairs (5). He manages to wake him as well. The pair advance up and into the entryway of the castle.

Roth searches again for something interesting, and sees a faint silvery trail leading off into the forest (5). He uses his intelligence (4+1=5) to reckon that a fairy has recently passed this area.

Stan'la continues on towards the stone, but is almost immediately steps in a bear trap that he didn't notice in his haste (1). However, luck is on his side as the contraption has no sharp teeth (5) and he is uninjured, if slowed and scared for a moment.

With Stan'la slowed down, Lisaca catches up to him despite his head start (4). She opens a hole in the ground under Stan'la (3+1=4), which Stan'la dodges away from before any real damage can be done (4).

Encase him in stone and crush him with it with some massive pressure

Roth follows the fairy dust trail... straight off of a concealed cliff (1). However, he luckily falls into some soft bushes and is uninjured (5). Looking around at the bottom, he finds the trail again and follows it further, finding a fairy sitting in a clearing (5).

~Meanwhille~

After botching his introduction (1)... "My name is Sarokov"... Saragoth enters into the wizard's tower and is promptly confronted by an animated suit of armor (2).

Ochita also botches his introduction (1)... "Hail Sarokov... I am Orcta"... and he follows Saragoth into the tower, as a second suit of animated armor jumps out at him (2).

~Elsewhere~

Arcane energy crackles as the fifer and earth mage square off. Stan'la opens with a brutal blast of fifing, (2+2=4) which Lisaca heroically leaps away from (6). She stumbles slightly upon landing, however, and loses her concentration (lose bonus to magic for this round).

Lisaca counters by attempting to encase Stan'la in stone (4), but Stan'la nimbly avoids the magic (5). The two warily circle each other, still uninjured.
