OOC: I now realize that ExKirby was also humming along. For some reason I missed that. My bad.

Follow the others while trying to use special magic to train my moose to breathe fire. I do love my moose. I name him Loki! Please God don't end up with the moose on fire and dying. I'll cry a little.

Since I am a fire mage I might be able to help you with that. But don't blame me when it goes horrifically wrong.

Well, if Stan'la can use this moose as his mount, I'd like to ride with him. I could shoot from it.

The group heads towards the quarry...

On the way, Stan'la attempts to train his moose in fire magic. Despite help from Saragoth, the plan goes horribly awry (1+1=2). The air in the moose's lungs ignites, causing the creature to die a horrible and painful death. Stan'la manages to jump off the moose before his outsides come aflame (3), but he is nonetheless devastated.

Nimitz never gets a chance to ride the moose, and is slightly disappointed.

ExKirby hums to himself the entire time, and it doesn't sound half bad (5).

The rest of the journey to the quarry is uneventful (5). Night has fallen on the party. A single cottage stands at the precipice of a massive hole in the ground. The smell of broth fills the air. You hear some noises, but you can't make them out (3).

Find a stick and use my fire magic to make a light (I don't know if a torch is the only option). See if anyone wants to sneak up to the cottage and listen in before I and the rest of the party head towards it, knock on the door, tell the guy who we are.

Well, luck definitely wasn't on our side there.b]
"Serves you right. Let's just go..."
Once we reach the cottage, I cautiously approach it and wait while Para knocks. I'll also keep an eye out for the source of the noises.

Alarmed by the noises, Lisaca attempts to to raise a protective wall of earth (3+1=4), which easily shields the group from any surprise attacks.

Saragoth grabs a medium-sized stick and lights the end on fire (3+1=4), providing the group with some light.

ExKirby, seemingly in his own little world, dances to his humming (4). It's a fine dance.

Stan'la explodes in a fit of emotion, putting on a mourning ritual for Loki fit for a king (5). Despite a rising urge to go berserk, he manages to contain his feelings and express them in a beautiful interpretive dance to ExKirby's humming (5).

Saragoth and Nimitz approach the cottage cautiously (4), not drawing any attention, while Nimitz keeps an eye out for the source of the noises without any luck (2).  Saragoth knocks on the door, and is surprised when it is flung open quickly (3).

Aelreth, a dwarf caked in the dust of years of mining, appears before them wielding a hammer. "Are you crazy?!? There are werewolves about!"

In fact, there are. As the dwarf speaks, three werewolves spring from their hiding places and menacingly eye the party.
