Stan'la, with his silver tongue, requests to be transported alone to the spot of the other power crystal (5). "It is so" says the voice, and he appears at the head of a misty mountain valley. His silver compass whirls around in his pocket.

~ At the tower ~

Ochita focuses his energy on dispelling magic, and feels a natural ability grow in him (4). He then runs up to Saragoth.

As Saragoth attempts to use his fire magic against the door (1+1=2), it shoots a bolt of energy back at him (6) that he barely dodges (5). It continues on and slams into Ochita, who is unable to dodge (2). He is severely injured by the blast, and is knocked back and bloodied (2).

~ Still in the void ~

Xyloth asks for help learning to harness the powers of the void. The voice is not pleased at all (1+1=2). A wave of purple light washes over him, but he resists any negative effects (1).

~ In the forest ~

Lyndis grows wings (3+1=4) and flies around, seeing an elven camp in the distance (6).

Roth looks around and uses his intelligence to discern a plant that he can use to bandage himself (3+1=4). He does so successfully (4).

Look around for any long strips of wood that I can sharpen into a spear or javelin.

Ochita casts a dispel on the door, (3+1=4), barely overcoming the enchantment that was protecting it.

Saragoth fails to act before Ochita (1), and his rushing distracts from his healing attempt. However, it is such a good spell (5-1=4) that he still manages to heal the wounds.

~ At the void ~

Xyloth asks again for help, but hears only the whispers of the void (2+1=3).

~ In the forest ~

Lyndis lands, folding her feathered wings, and then tells Roth about the village. Drawing on her magic, she attempts to improve her sense of smell, which she succeeds at (4+1=5). She can now smell as a hound, but her nose remains humanoid.

Roth is looking for a long strip of wood when an elven trap is sprung on him (1)! A wooden spear flings out of the underbrush at him, triggered by a small tripwire (3). He barely dodges away (3), and then goes and picks up the spear. It is sturdy.

~ At the valley ~

Stan'la summons his fifing energies, blasting away the mist (6-1=5). He sees clearly down to the end of the valley, where a green dragon and two hatchlings sit atop a small pile of treasure.

Player Status
Stan'la - Normal; +3 to fife
Ochita - Normal; +2 to fencing, +1 to dispel magic
Saragoth - Normal; +1 to fire magic
Roth - Normal; +1 to intelligence
Xyloth - Normal; +1 to void magic
Lyndis - Normal; +1 to transmogrification
