make koss a build around triple chop (high aoe damage with an axe, but capping the skill might be hard. iirc its from a guy in Factions, one of the first areas once you get to the mainland), then he becomes awesome. IIRC Jennur's Horde wasn't too bad, all you had to do was drop the item near the invincible guys and they died, right?
Just be glad you aren't attempting Nundu Bay. Nundu Bay is freaking stupid. (also most every single mission in Factions so far as well).

alright I will give the axe build a try. the main problem in this mission is defending the damn npc loser who is lurking around for no good reason.

Well, the new waves only spawn every 2 minutes, that gives you 2 minutes to rush down the hall, and do as much damage as possible, then intercept any incoming squads. thats what i did. rush/defend cycle

got it down finally. I had too many healers and not enough dps, did not even bother with the axe skill, just added several dps npcs and that did it. I am used to being the main dps and roll with 6 healers lol!

PvE is only good in GW if you enjoy grind or farming for titles and perks. But the thing is, GW isn't about grind. You could take heroes and solo just about everything except Hardmode (after you beat the original game) endgame content. Once you know what you're doing, the game gets much easier.

It actually has fairly decent end game content that requires a fair amount of skill or team/skill-bar skill/abuse ;)

And it is all about PvP. Hall of Heroes or bust.

I used to play religiously, but haven't in a long time. If you want to add me in case I ever get on I can be found at "Nanashi Chiyoko". The last time I was playing I grinded my Gladiator rank almost to r4 in RA. Why did I grind there? Because Random Arena is brutally hilarious, often unintentionally by noobs and people who don't play as a team. Guild Wars is a team game, even in RA, and I play to win.

Ah, random arenas. Since nobody ever uses Monks, I decided to help out my team and heal.

...Of course, I'd get the one match with two healers on both teams. And everybody was too stubborn to forfeit, since we didn't want to give the other team a win. I think that fight went on for 20 minutes before we finally got bored!

Heh, one time I was playing the random arenas and we ended up in a tem with a Monk, a warior, a ranger and me as a Mesmer. I was set up as an anti-attack mesmer, spamming stuff that hurt whenever the opponent attacked. I must've at least earned a quarter of my skills from magic classes, who for some reason didn't understand the concept of not attacking... Finaly we were beaten (I think, could've been a forfeit) by a team spotting 2 assasins who would kite away whenever I started hexing them. That match took well over 10 minutes at least (could've been over 15 minutes even)

Yay, I got my account password back after a contacting customer support. I would be up for some playing if anyone wants to. Shame that your builds are saved on your computer, now I have to recreate those that I can remember.

EDIT: I'd forgotten the joy of trying to log into a city for the first time from a new computer.

I'm really considering buying it, but don't actually have the time to play it. The trial was quite boring, but I blame it on no teamwork and stuff. I'd buy it if it allowed me to play the same copy with my brother, though.

So, I'm planning on getting back into this and possibly buying the eye of the north in anticipation for GW 2 coming out.

Does anyone want to come join?

I played Guild Wars for a bit, it was really fun. You need other people for it to be enjoyable.

Can't seem to get back into it.

Oi, i might play a bit, too. But the nightfall campaign takes ages because of the required faction farming..

Some time ago we created a Bay12 clan. I might see whether i can invite you, if you want. Got a Guildhall and stuff, we lack just a few merchants.
