Filled in the technical data. I'm still working on the story side of the character, so everything should be up by tomorrow night. I'll post it as soon as I figure out how to convert it into a picture...

You mean turn the character sheet into a picture? I don't think there is a built-in function for that. What I ended up doing was using Print Screen to copy it to my clipboard, then go into paint to paste it and save it was a picture.

Meh I think I'll end up wrapping it up a PDF and converting that to a usable format...

If you're using the character builder you can just paste the text summary into a spoiler.
Should end up looking something like this:

You can write up the background in a post ;)

All right, here's the summary. Basically, I'm an Avenger for the Raven Queen, seeking out necromancers and other unnatural entity to bring to justice.

Hehe, I meant background benefits. He's got +2 athletics from "Military Background" in the example.

Also if you're using the WotC Character Builder and want to export the sheet to a pdf, save it, then use the 'print' function on the saved sheet. If you have something like the Adobe Creative Suite installed you should have a 'print to pdf' option, if not, you can download various plugins (i think the free Acrobat Reader comes with it) to do the same thing.

So that makes a dragonborn, a drider, and a shifter - all races with some connection to animals. I wonder if anyone in this game will be human.

Humanity is overrated!

:P

Actually the Human race in 4e is where it should be; in 3.5 Human was basically the most optimised race for almost any given circumstance, in 4e, other races are always more optimised than Human for a given class, but what race it is changes depending on the class and choices; Humans always come second.

The one notable exception to this rule is Wizard, as Wizards are very singular stat dependant (they really only need Int) and the extra at-will Humans get is extremely valuable to a Wizard, wheras it's not really valuable at all to any other class because of the different stat dependancies.

Background benefits are allowed.

The example character is a barbarian I'm playing right this moment, actually.  Only striker in the group.  Woo!  We kill things SO fast.  :P

EDIT:  Like today.  With 2 active players, it only took us 2 hours to knock out 4 dwarves.  (Although, to brag, I KO'd one of the tougher types in round 2.  But then I was out of encounter powers.  :/)

What about the bonus feat and skills? Certainly those should help humans out with some other classes.

Hey, how would one use this D&DI character builder? Do I need to pay for it?

It sounds nifty.
