I can't make it Tuesday either. I can play Wednesday, or start a couple hours earlier on Thursday.

I can play on the same time any day, but I'd like to not let it run into the deep night on tueseday (got lab work to do, which isn't as much fun if you're drowsy)

He can fly, just not for very long, and he can only go straight down.

Anyway, any verdict on the new schedule?

Well, Tuesday doesn't work for some of you, and I've recently been informed I'll be doing something with my family on Wednesday.  So...

This week we'll be having the session at the normal time, and I'll have my assistant (more like co-DM now) take over things when I have to go.

Okay, so last session I had to leave and cut off some investigation/information gathering.  So, if you've got any unanswered questions I can do my best to answer them before next session.  Also, I believe at least one person raised questions about loot?  If you did, please ask them again in the thread and I'll do my best to answer.

Also, I have questions for you.  Namely, I'm not getting much feedback.  So, for next session, I'd like you to take notes on things that you didn't like and things that you did like.  After the session, I'd like you to pick 3 things from each category and send them to me.  As long as there aren't conflicts in what everyone likes, I'll try to include more of what you did like and less of what you didn't like (or improve on it).  I'm not the best DM, and I'm certainly not close to being a perfect DM, so I don't expect you to have problems getting at least 3 things that could have been better (even if you're very easy going, there should be things that at least annoy you a little).  For things you did like, it doesn't have to be something that blew your mind.  Anything that made you think 'cool' for a little bit counts.

But, no matter how many things you have on your personal list, please only submit 3 things you like and 3 things you dislike at a time.  Getting a lot of complaints without some encouragement is going to kill my enthusiasm for the game, but getting a lot of encouragement without complaints will prevent me from improving, and I'll think you're just trying to spare my feelings and stress out over that.

Well, this is the first time I've ever did D and D like this, so I don't have anything to compare this game to. But so far, I'm enjoying the game. I like the exploration in the forest, and that not everything is oriented around combat.

One thing that does bother me a little though, is that we're exploring pretty much at random. We don't have any direction, or hints of where we're supposed to go, except for metagame hints given directly from the GM. I'm just thinking that maybe we should, at the various locations, find some clue as to other points of interest that might exist.

I would like to echo Fortis' comment that the exploration part of the game is a nice break from the normal combat-oriented gameplay DnD seems to have to a first time player. IT could however be expanded. As said, thusfar it has mainly been blind exploring and rolling for spot checks. It would be nice if we'd run into some more puzzling situations, in which we actually have to do something outside of combat (think puzzles or something like that)

Combat has been exciting (I fondly remember the time my teammates used me as a beacon for various skills. Perhaps there should be a trait for that? ;)). However, thusfar we've only met purely combat-oriented opponents. It might be that they're best to practice at for beginners, but I'd suggest creating some variety. Mix some different creature types together. Give some opponents oddball attacks or tactics to work around. Make us think ;)

And interesting terrain is always awesome :D
Stuff where we can do stunts, or if we get ideas we can use the terrain to our advantage, but equally if we have stupid ideas we can use terrain to enact them.

Somebody remember to tell me what happened. I left on the tail end of figuring out whether we were going to follow the lizardfolk or just trek to their stronghold.

As far as we recall we figured that if we headed for the stronghold, we would arrive at the same time as the hunting party and thus we went.

I'm sorry everyone.  I have to call off the session today.  I'm going to be busy during most of our session time, and I didn't have enough time this week to prepare my notes for Imperii.
