try contacting APO.
No items
no wrist pad
no APO

You can just try screaming like an idiot but that might confuse people.

Clearly we have no choice but to roll over on our powerless belly and beg for mercy from the woman we smashed into a pulp several pages ago.

Instead of going east, give a northward curve, so you aren't going straight to her

You walk toward her on a curve, her head follows you as you do. As you get close you notice she doesn't look like the girl in the jumpsuit from earlier, she's taller and has longer hair. There are what look like skin graft scars on her stomach and you can finally make out that the glasses she's wearing are made up of several different lenses, each clicking into and out of place continuously. She still hasn't made any threatening moves toward you and you're only 15 feet away by now.

I'm not at all certain whether it was Apo or something else that sent us here. :-\

Hey, what about the finger? The one Apo retroactively removed by sending Examiners to the past. Has it returned? We lost it back in our childhood, but we only caused it to have been lost maybe a few subjective hours ago.

Please type out what you want to say exactly, since it matters. Oh and the finger is back.

You say "hello".

She does not respond.

"To you, did it look like I just appeared out of thin air?" Look out over the expanse. "It sure felt like it. Neat glasses."

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

Ignore the woman for now, observe the general area some more, perhaps there's more than a square of field and a woman

Can we really communicate with our left foot?

Can we check if we still have the random timewarping power without trying to use it?

Polite chitchat with woman, as suggested by Nivm, sounds just excellent. If she still doesn't respond, though, I suggest we explore a bit. Walk to the edge of the plateau, if that's what we're standing on, and look down.

"Did you appear? No. This place appeared for you." The woman says, her eyes not straying from yours.
