We're so about to get killed, aren't we?
You're always on the edge of being killed. But I do suggest you choose your next actions carefully.

You are in a grassy field scattered with standing stones and trees, the sky above you is blue with scattered clouds. There is a gentle breeze and a slight chemical smell. The grass is roughly 2 foot tall.  There is a tree 15 feet to the left and a standing stone 20 feet to the forward right. The exit is roughly 15 foot away. You can't see anything out of the ordinary.

I've seen this somewhere before, but I can't remember where...

Still, nothing out of the ordinary? IT'S SOMETHING DANGEROUS AND INVISIBLE.

Don't do any of these before reporting the environment scans. These are suggestions for afterward:

>Would it take too long if we gave ourselves wings and flew away? I'm thinking we should do that later, but for now our augmented super soldier legs should hopefully be enough to flee out of here.

>We should definitely empty the Examiner bag so that the Examiners can hopefully detect whatever it is or act as a distraction.

>Should we give Reginald flesh-melding powers so that we can continue on as him if we die?

Also, I can't hear the sound. Can someone describe it?

A sound like a camera shutter closing, a gun "clicking" a shot into place (you know the sound I mean) or a twig breaking.

Also, wind.

Good idea, but we'll see if the others agree

You don't have the necessary flesh to make wings without draining some of your other enhancements. Also you can't give other people your flesh melding powers because you're not sure how they work exactly. You can open the examiner bag in a few seconds though.

The standing stone is roughly 10 feet high and 3 to 4 wide, cigar shaped and standing slightly tilted. It looks to be made of some sort of porous gray stone and may have been artificially shaped, but you're too far away to know for sure.

>Scan of the area for biologicals with our mind. I PRESUME we can do this.

>If none, release the examiners WHILST we sprint for the facility.

>If there are some, attempt to cut off the creature's eyes or whatever whilst we sprint back.

>If there's an anomaly of sort some, report back on our FREE ACTION.

You don't have "Life radar", so you can't just scan an area for living things, at least not yet. You could attempt a random use of your powers and hope you hit, but its a crap shoot. Also, if you want to run, do you want to add Smigenboger's initial jump before the run?

>Yes. Get a handful of examiners ready to throw up first, though, and open the bag to let the rest out. If any survive, they can follow us.

Opening that bag and throwing those examiners up will take a few seconds, are you sure you want to do it?

Yes, and then take one examiner and make it squirt blood like an inkjet printer.

Nah, start running first and then start tossing examiners.

>jump
>run
>use bag of examiners

(I bet he's just messing with us and we are in absolutely no danger whatsoever.)

By the way, we still have the random time power, right? The one we used to get the fleshcrafting. The current situation doesn't really warrant using it, but we haven't tried it for a while, and I just want to check that the fleshcrafting didn't overwrite it or something.
