You start to lean in but think better of it as her hand strays toward the rifle slung over her shoulder.

You stare blankly at the woman for several minutes, your big stupid, empty eyes causing her to become noticeably uneasy. Finally, apparently annoyed at your lack of activity, she slams the butt of her rifle into your forehead.


As the pain begins to recede and your vision clears you find yourself back in the spaceship, your items and powers returned to you. Your head still hurts though.

My guess is that sun exploded billions of years ago. Maybe ask Apo about that as well? Eh, first get his opinion on our dream-quest. Did he notice/cause/understand it?

You shrug and try to ignore the smell of burnt rubber as you leave the ship and head back down the umbilical cable and into the station. You hop the turnstile and head into the station proper. Beyond the blast door is an ample lobby, with hundreds of empty seats and towering glass and stone architecture. Beside what looks like a reception desk is a large map detailing various areas in the station. There is an elevator up to a higher level running along the side of the current room.

Don't you mock my lack of cohesive thought structure, I do these at 3 am with my eyes closed

The map seems to move as you look at it, scrolling to follow your eyes in a rather disorienting fashion. From the map you can tell that pretty much everything near you is a office building of some sort, with three main exceptions. One is a biotech lab of some sort, another is what you assume to be a prison or perhaps a police station and the last appears to be abandoned and bares no label.
