Too much collateral damage makes you lose that one. So make sure you don't step on too many cars.

Actually, I think the Awesome is too slow for that mission.  If you charge targets in a quicker mech, you'll engage before they target the convoy.  But with the Awesome, you're too slow to draw fire away from the convoy.

Initially, there's some evac of the building that blows up. I think you're supposed to protect the firetrucks or the building behind the blown-up one until the helicopter come in, and then protect the helicopters. I think I use a Medium for that mission.

I think I accidentally blew up the news crew one time. Whoops.

I don't know If i'll get the update up before this weekend. Having to cram a lot since we're nearing our Finals.

This LP got me back into playing MW4 for the first time in a long time. I'd forgotten how much fun the Argus is.

Update Time

28 May, 3066
We have decided to take some time off for some much needed R&R following the cessation of combat ops on Halloran V. For other poeple, that would mean a bar crawl and a trip to some of the fine ladies houses. With us however, that means a trip to Solaris VII for mech fights, recruitment, mech fights, bar crawls, and more mech fights. When we set down, everyone was given there payday and told to be back at the ship in a few days. Considering the numbers of mech pilots that come and go from this planet, Charlie and Castle decided to set up a small recruiting stand near the space port.

Seeing as I had a few days to kill, i decided to Requisition Spartan's shiny new Wolfhound for some mech combat.
Jungle, Light
Factory Light
Coliseum light

It went fairly well, and I'm positive he was too drunk to realize what I did with it before we left.

After I came back, I stopped by Charlie and castle to see if they had gotten anyone. Turns out they had picked up 4 new people

Jetsquirrel has the honor of being our first heavy mech pilot with his Argus


Goblin and scooter came in around the same time, both with Uller light mechs


And finally, Buzz Euchrejack signed on with an Uziel.


29 May 3066
With a heavy heart we bid farewell to Solaris VII and set our course for Eaton in the Isle of Skye. The current governor has signed on with the Skye separatists and is calling for a lot of Merc Support in his bid for independence. Our first contract will take us to the aptly named "Merc Alley" for some convoy raids.

Nice work in the Arena. Can I request a pilot eventually? Not sure if those new guys are already taken or not. If they aren't, I'd like one. Perhaps Goblin, if he's available.
