I think you are right shades, but I think people are creating more of a 'build queue' instead a 'create everything now' queue.

Ahh right, thats what is confusing me :) thanks.

Better to build fewer of each than queue lots though surely? Cause you know what GM's a like they'll just build all 500 of the workers and then attack us ;)

OK I'll offer shorter per day plan

Make 20 protoworkers per day (1kg)
Make 20 protosldiers per day (2kg)
Make 2 generasl per day (12kg)
Make 3 protodefenders per day (15kg)
Make 1 brain triffid per day (10kg)

40 kg per day. the rest should be used for other projects

And we should order our hunters to hunt triffids... they are easy prey and take space that can be used by brain triffids

I just had a thought; what would we do if we hit iron and magma?

I think we should dig for magma, just because.

Magma has no DNA, and besides, right now we are a plant. Survival does not include incineration of the self.

Just a thought, but is there a grass of a sort nearby?

If so, maybe replace it with a custom form of grass attached to the root network and feeding biomass directly to you. Have it spread everywhere but remain indistinguishable from the regular grass.

Now other projects.

1) Kashyk's offer is very good

2) Design and produce several noncombat, mobile,  maximally small and fast transmitter organisms using (scarab DNA + Hive mind DNA)

3) Design small brain organism from crab DNA + HIVE DNA+triffid DNA: Protosergeant. Combo 20 soldiers + 1 general weights 7 kg... 5\7th taken by commander and it is too much. It would be good to have small brain that can control 5-10 bugs.

And we still need soldiers, they are our cannon fodder/scouts  Defenders are tanks
