Wait a minute - we don't need wasps!

We've GOT the DNA for infector creatures!

Modify our own DNA, and combine it with the scarabs to create a dumb version of our starting worm. These should be able to launch themselves at and infect other creatures by quickly burrowing into them.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

So, if I understand this correctly, you want to create very cheap creatures that can instatnly mindcontrol anything they meet? Munchkins! :D

We've GOT the DNA for infecter creatures!

it just struck me were getting more and more zerg like
we have their history in reverse but that we can ignore

We can then make them better by giving them basic limbs/chitin, and a bite... then make them able to run really really fast...

Disagree.

If they need locomotion, use the other more mobile/disposable organisms like protosolider. parasites are not meant to be mobile; rather they need to keep a profile as low as possible.

They might need teeth and some muscle to help with the final approach(that is, when the protosolider attacks, it can jump itself from its back to the target), but nothing else. And MAKE IT AS TINY AS POSSIBLE.

but before that, we still need a more efficient method to collect DNA.

Protosoliders are our zerglings btw. Protodefenders... Ultralisks?

As much as I like the zerg influence in stuff it's kinda dull to just be aiming to copy it all directly. We have an interesting game so lets see what craziness we can come up with.

Hmm, I'm just throwing ideas around...

what about a creature that fires those things from an orifice, making a ranged weapon?

How about if it can fire another creature, symbiotic like. Maybe a good way to get something small near anything hostile quickly.

Or in the later game, we turn our infection forms into mortars?

What should these parasites do? Mind control? Kill? Transfer resources from hosts to us? I can't understand what you all want to do.

Mind control: I seriously doubt that GM will allow to mind control anything more complex than a plant or it would be too easy. ( I doubt that GM will allow to use worm form either. )

Kill: As strategic long term, long range weapon... maybe. But it is not urgent

Transfer resources: How?

Lets save this for future turns, and build an army or will be eaten very soon with all our glorious months ahead plans.

We will probably get DNAs of two new insects from our harvesters and than design more effective parasites if majority wants it.

I offer this plan again:
