  "We're not making it back to the shuttle!" Flintus replied at the top of his voice.
  "But the Wispy's not that far!"Nimitz loudly countered, his voice barely audible.
  [1]"We've already strayed off the trail we used to come here!"
  "But we have to return to the shuttle! We've got to get that medicine!" Faden squeaked very loudly."We've got to find a way!"
  Although it's against Flint's better judgement to stay in the forest longer than necessary in such wind and possible thunderstorm, there's really no other choice. "Ok! I will try!"Flintus screamed, then he felt a droplet on his cheek."Dammit...It's raining! Let's move!"

  The team moved through the dense forest under the storm.
  The vast treetop of the forest stopped the worst of the ice-cold rain from pouring down onto the team, but they also blocked the sight, making it almost impossible to find the right direction.
  [4]Lightnings struck the ground, and splitted trees open, lighting them on fire. Those fire served to be a light beacon for the outworldly endeavourers, and, out of pure luck, none of them struck near the team, and they managed to get away with some minor cuts.
  [8]Finally, they emerged from the forest around 3 hours later, to the west of the shuttle. Cila went unconscious in the way, and has to be carried by Nimitz. Faden used her almost completed wing to cover the other three from the rain, while Flintus held her down, to prevent her from being blown away by the wind.

  "Keep moving! It's right over there!"Flintus screamed in a hoarse voice, as the team moved through the shrubland, on a final dash to the shuttle wreak.
  (Observation: Flintus, Nimitz, Faden(-1 Heavy Rain): [5-1][2-1][10-1])"Wait! What's that?"Faden, suddently noticed something, stopped her step and instinctively crouched down behind a shrub."Stop! Dead ahead!"
  "I didn't see anything!"Nimitz exclaimed.
  "Dammit! Nimitz! Get your head down! We've got company!"Flintus grabbed Nimitz by his shoulder, pulled him into crouching position back behind the shrub, then whispered in his ear. "Look! 1 o'clock!"
  "Eh?...Ah. What's that?" Nimitz answered worriedly as he laid Princess Cila against himself, under Faden's extended wing. She was limp and unresponsive, but still alive, her breath has become a labored hoarse.
  "I believe that's a sort of flashlight, and keep your voice down!" Faden whispered as she checked Cila's status, and glanced at the two dots of light she managed to detect. "But why would there be flashlights out there? And it's moving, toward south or southwest."
  "And those are not our flashlight, color's not right, but it's hard to tell with all this raining." Flintus added. exchanging glances with Nimitz, who nodded."And how's Cila?"
  Before Faden can respond, another lightning forked through the sky, and landed in the forest directly behind the shuttle crew. For a brief moment, the entire valley plain was lighted before them, and four humanoid figures could be seen 300 meters away, about 30 meters to the shuttle. They continued to stare at the two faint light dots, which continued to move slowly clockwise to the team, long after the flash of the lightning was gone.
  "Who are they?" Nimitz broke the silence.
  "I don't know."Faden responded, urgency in her eyes, as they stared at each other."They seemed to be moving away from the shuttle wreck...And we'd better get back soon, I hope it's soon enough."

  The Wispy has crashlanded in a valley near the equatorial line of the planet. The Shal'a mountain range was around 100 kilometer to the north.
  To the north and west, around 2 kilometer, there was some hills the shuttle evaded during its descent, with the beginning of the Shal'a mountain range visible.
  To the south and east, a river was running, from east to south into the forest. it's about 700 meter distant. there are also hills in the other side of the river.
  A forest to the south, about 800 meters.
  A plain to the east, also with some hills.
  Shrubs exist around the place.
  The temperature was about 4 degree celsius, local time was night.
  Dense cloud covered the sky, precipitation was heavy, in form of rain. There was also lightnings.
  Ground has partially thawed.
  Wind was very strong.

  There's a native village about 3 kilometers to south-west-west into the forest from the shuttle wreck.
  The team is now 300m west to the shuttle.
  Princess Cila is now unconscious from having a reaction.
  Unidentified contact detected near the shuttle wreak.
  Inside the shuttle, debris scattered throughout the entire place, also there are some gold and deep blue colored feather visible around.

  The team has fallen silent. Now they've lost contact with Swiftwing, and local police has surrounded the house. The situation's not good.
  "Sxtan, I'm nearly useless in a firefight. Shelly and Chris should be able to deal with whatever is ahead without me. No offense, but you'd probably scare the locals into calling up the army -- I'll go and try to diffuse the situation. Take care of Shelly and Chris ... and yourself and the rest of the team, of course. Shelly, you're in charge of the comm relays."
  "Sir...Yes Sir."Shelly responded.
  "Point taken Nirur and no offense taken." Checking his scanner, Sxtan noticed that the source of the hyperspace disturbance is almost exactly straight ahead down the tunnel. Then he turned to the security team, "The hyperspace disturbance, and their hideout most likely, seems to be straight ahead of us. So, please use caution and I don't want anybody to take extreme risks. I will bring everybody back alive." Unsheathing all four of his blades, he ordered."Lets move out! And good luck Lieutenant!"
  Nirur nodded, then started to run back to the house.

  [5]Nirur retraced his own step and made his way back into the house without trouble.
  "Report!"
  "Sir, we're being surrounded and confronted by Ellonikot Police. On a basis of armed trespassing, and they are demanding us to surrender. The Embassy of Confederation have also sent people here, it must have sounded like a case of mutiny and desertion to them."
  "Do they have any idea what's actually going on down there?"
  "No Sir, I found it might be a better idea to wait for you, Sir."
  "Okay. Now lead the way, I want to have a look on the situation myself."

  From the window of the top level, Nirur looked around, and found the situation quite distressing. Anti-grav atmospheric crafts, obviously armed with light energy weapons, flied in circle in the blue sky above the house. The street was empty, having been cleared. Crowds of people and reporter vehicles can be seen in a distance, behind the yellow cable. He has also seen a number of Elloni policemen crouched behind cover, monitoring the house. A human in formal clothing can be seen in the distance, having a conversation with another Elloni, also in local formal clothing.

  "Great. Now there's a high-profile public incident, and we're at the wrong end of it. Can we contact the ship, Archer?"
  "No sir, no responce, not a bit, as if nothing was there."
  "A VERY good way to get famous...Dammit."Nirur murmured harshly. "I'll talk with them."

  Sxtan and his team continued onward, deeper into the tunnel, while scanned for life signs around.[8(Scanner Analyzer)]He detected signs of life near the place that hyperspace disturbance was detected, though it was impossible to tell the exact number now, he has determined that there are definitely someone around that place, and there's no more than 10 of them.
  The tunnel went deeper, winded left, then their way was blocked by a good-sized blast door, with two sentry guns and a security camera nearby. they stopped right before the winding.

  The second enemy, crouched behind Captain's chair, opened fire on Slylod.[1]But the shot hit the engineering console instead, damaging it.
  Almost at the same time, Knight dashed out and opened fire on the enemy technican beside the security console, who tried to break the system lockdown.(Standard, Kill)[2]But tripped himself over the body of one of the crew unfortunate enough to be on the bridge when the boarding party arrived, and almost fallen, his shot went wild and hit the ceiling instead.
  The Tyrilian technican, who was also decked out in armor and armed with rifle, shooted at Knight as he dashed out.(Pulse Burst, Kill)[7+1][10][3]The shot hit Knight squarely in the chest(+1 Damage).[2-1+1-2]Fortunately, Knight's chest armor stopped the damage.
  Batista decided to target the enemy who wounded Slylod first.(Standard, Kill)[3+2-1(Firearms)+1(Rage)][13][2]Hidden behind the turbolift wall, he managed to score a glancing hit at the Tyrilian agent on left upper leg(-4 Damage).[10-2-4]He hit the seam between two pieces of thick armor, and sizzled the skin below.(Wounded: Left upper leg)
  Crewman Pamela was the first to dash out from the opened conference door. She took the Tyrilian monitoring the door totally by surprise, [7+1(Surprise)-2(Head, melee)]And rifle-butted him, [9-3(Armor)]knocking him out for the moment(Wounded: Head). T'Cot followed up,(Standard, Stun)[10-4(Head)+5(Target immobile and point-blank)][8+4(To-hit bonus)]By sending another stun bolt into the Tyrilian's face.
  While Pamela and T'Cot took down one of the Tyrilians, Yamamoto and Para remained hidden behind the doorway, and took potshots at the Tyrilian technican.(Standard, Kill)[4][18][7-4]Yamamoto's shot glanced off the Tyrilian's lower leg armor,(Standard, Kill)[10-2][14][3]While Para sent his bolt of energy squarely onto the Tyrilian's left knee.[6+2(To-hit bonus)-2(Armor)]The bolt penetrated the armor, burnt the tissue below, and knocked the Tyrilian down.(Injured: Left Knee: Roll on standing)
  Decker has also crouched behind the turbolift door and shooted at the Tyrilian Para shot.(Standard, Kill)[9][13][3] He sent another shot into the Tyrilian's left knee before he falls.[1+2(To-hit bonus)-2(Armor)]and shooted right through the cauterized hole Para created without dealing damage. The Tyrilian was decked with a resounding thud.
  Zot crouched back in the turbolift, and took his aim on the Tyrilian behind the Captain's chair.[3]He missed.

  Treachery confirmed on this planet, Sxtan and four security crew has beamed down from the ship.
  The traitor, Nil and his Tyrilian contact, Klarg is no longer in the house, there's a tunnel leading underground from their last known position, and it's locked by a heavy metal door.
  Ellonikot is remarkably small for a planetary capital. but every settlement on Ellon III looks like this, and Elloni people is proud of this for their decentralized economy.

  The Swiftwing is in orbit of Ellon III, maintained in a low orbit directly above Ellonikot with engine power.
  Nirur, Sxtan and their team of security and engineering crew has breached the door blocking the tunnel.
  The tunnel was drilled out by laser drill, as determined by Sxtan.
  CNS-15532, Swiftwing has been boarded by Tyrilian assailants, fight has broken out aboard. Security are full armed, and 50% of other sections will be armed at the start of next turn.
  All shipboard systems has been locked out by Para.
  The ground team in Klarg's house has been confronted by Ellinikot Police, neither side has taken any action yet, the Embassy of Confederation has also sent people to investigate the situation.

  From the window of the top level, Nirur looked around, and found the situation quite distressing.   Before them, the escape tunnel ended into another larger tunnel. The air here was warmer, and even more stale than it was in the escape tunnel, with slight tints of smell of electronics, machinery oil, and ozone. The wall of the larger tunnel in front of the party was uniformly rough, apparently excavated by heavy machinery a long time ago. Electrical cables, insulated, ran along the larger tunnel and mounted on the wall, some are thick, some are thin. Metal supports appear by an interval in the larger tunnel, these supports were old too, but still fully functional. The tunnel itself seemed almost sterile, free of rubbles, scraps of trash or dirt, and any sign of life. Also, there were two long pieces of old metal railing on the ground, its top surface was free of any rust, leading to both exit of the junction of the larger tunnel, a mine cart is on the railings, blocked a large part of one exit of the junction, it was empty. A faint resounding hum was audible in the tunnel, and the tunnel was dimly lit by halogen lights mounted on the metal supports.

  Sxtan's team has been blocked by a metal blastdoor defended by sentry guns and security cameras.

  Humanoid race hailing from Planet Cril, resembles human, slightly weaker constitution, and have white hair. Confederation Associate.
  Supplies the ore Crilium which is used as energy source in the entire sector. Ravaged by civil war for more than 20 years tracing back before the Third War, the situation is about to take a turn.
  Planet Cril's political and religious leader, King of Covenant of Cril, Lorin has been exiled to Planet Olan for 21 years.

  A vital energy source of many planets in local space near Cril, much safer than Uranium and other similiar isotopes and require much less technology than fusion to produce power.
  Although Crilium did occur natually on every planets and asteroids in this section of space, only Cril, after which the ore is named after, have a concentration high enough to be mined with acceptable cost-effectiveness. And there's nigh-infinite amount of Crilite in the crust of Cril, which is enough to provide this and nearby sectors with energy for thousands of years to come at current rate.

  Humanoid race with an appearance that resembles human, but more bony and muscular, especially on the face. Regional Power, Quite aggressive. One of the powers that is now essentially surronded by CS as the latter expands, As CS spent most of its resource on Zerkalian Front it's more than willing to take some bite off the CS from the back, but does not dare an open war since they are too weak when compared with CS.
  Tyrilians ritually execute their prisoner after capture, in a particularly gory and painful way.

  As it's closer to Earth, the first contact between CS and Tyrilian Empire is pretty early, in the 2250s, which is immediately followed by a series of skirmishes between the two powers.
  Now it's surronded by Confederation as the latter expands, laying between the core and frontier worlds.
  It's technology level is 2370s-equivalent when compared to the Confederation, which is slightly inferior.
  The relation between it and CS has never been good. And because of Confederation's non-invasive nature, and the war between Confederation and Zerkalians, they have been trying to cut a piece out of CS since the Second War.
  Located in the opposite side of the Zerkalian Front, This regional power have been proven to be a thorn on the back for the Confederation.

  The military ships of Tyrilian Empire is typically light-to-medium destroyer sized, using exclusively lasers as their weaponery as observed, though a heavy-cruiser sized ship has been observed not long ago.
  Their technology is around 2370s-equivalent for Confederation, which is a bit outdated for newer Confederation ships, but still somewhat more advanced than his own Swan-class light cruiser.
  Tyrilian ships usually patrols around in single ship, or form a small taskforce of up to 5 ships.
  A typical Tyrilian ship looks like a triangle, with HL engine attached to port and starboard aft, and bridge on the dorsal fore of the ship.
  The common weakness among these ships are their low HL speed. The maximum speed ever observed is Factor 6.5, while they typically cruise at factor 5.
  Their laser armament are roughly class 4-8 in output when catagueized, though more powerful weapons is possible.
  Typical tactics Tyrilians use usually involves a lot of strafing as their laser are mostly forward-mounted. Ramming is also a tactic favored by Tyrilian commanders if their ship is damaged enough, or they are overpowered enough.

  Located near the Confederation-Tyrilian border, this sector is the home of StarStation 23 and Planet Cril, origin of Crilite civilization. Also have 8 habitable planets, 3 minor planetary colonies and 2 minor civilization, Olani and Elloni.
  This sector has been under constant threat from Tyrilian Empire since the first contact with them, but is still weakly-defended when compared to those alongside Confederation-Zerkalian border because of the constant threat of Zerkalians and its spatial position.
  At factor 6, Olan is 3 days away from SS23, Sigma 756 is 3 weeks away from Olan, Cril is 2 week 5 day away from Olan, 1 week away from Sigma 756, Ellon III is 2 week 3 day away from Olan, 9 day away from Sigma 756, 11 day away from Cril.

  Humanoid race native to Planet Olan, much shorter when compared to human, and is characterized by their darker skin and slightly diffenent facial feature. Confederation Associate.
  Planet Olan is very hot for a Class-M Terrestrial planet, bordering on Class-L Desert because of its relatively closeness to its sun, its atmosphere is also thinner than Earth. As the result Olani population is pretty sparse, barely reaching 5 million as of 2415.
  This planet does not have any natural resources treasured by any space-faring civilization, nor of any strategic importance. Thus of little intrest to any space-faring civilization, such a planet makes for excellent dwelling for exiled royalties like those of Planet Cril.
  The King of Covenant of Cril and his family has been exiled here with Confederation assistance. and has been here for 21 years.

  Humanoid race native to Planet Ellon III, shorter than human, and the skin color ranges from pink to deep green, very welcoming to strangers from all places. Confederation Associate.
  Ellon III is pretty underdeveloped by Confederation standard, the cosy lifestyle of Elloni people in one of the reason behind that.
  The culture of Elloni people calls for friendliness to all people, regardless of origin. Total strangers are hailed as neighbours, the hospitality of the Elloni people is famous throughout the Confederation.
  As a result, Immigration policy of the planet is pretty lax, and there's a stable Crilite population on the planet because of the frequent ore trade between the two planets.
  The Capital of Ellon III is Ellonikot, on the southern hemisphere of the planet. It's remarkably small for a planetary capital, Every settlement on Ellon III is like this.

  King of Covenant of Cril, Lorin has been exiled onto Planet Olan since 21 years ago, with his still-young daughter(Princess Cila, aged 4 at that time), his wife(Queen Miri), and his four servant(Personal manservant Eari and his wife, royal cook Mossay. Also Stable Master, Aldel and Chief of the households, Nil)
  Queen Miri died a few years later by disease, while others managed to live through the hardness of all these years.
  The King is pretty old now, the hardship on the living didn't make the situation any better.
  King Lorin have passed away aboard CNS-15322 Swiftwing, at 2421.11.18 21:28 Earth Standard Time.

  A stone house of typical Olani construction located on the south hemisphere of the planet in a rural region, the King, his family and entourage has been living there for the entire duration of their exile.
  Enemy presense on this planet is very low, at most a Tyrilian agent with a few paid Olani informers according to report, it used to be much more though, their number reduced as the time passes.
  Also the Swiftwing's presence here should have been a surprise for Tyrilian Empire, for the secrecy nature of the mission.
  An encrypted message was sent to Tyrilian Empire after the away team reached Olan. The presence of Swiftwing is no secret now.
  Another message was sent near the end of Turn 10.

  As the political and religious symbol of planet Cril, this very important item is not with the King at this time. The King have hidden it away on a remote planet at the beginning of his exile at Planet Sigma 756. Tyrilians will most likely want to steal this item.
  The Power of Times granted by the Crown is an ESP-like phenomenon activated by a certain type of brainwave that was present in the brain of certain members of royal family of Cril, and the crystal on the Crown is sensitive to such waves, the person possessing just the right brain wave would clear it. This effect has been duplicated in computer simulations. After all, the most likely explanation for the story was an intervention by a much more advanced alien race, even when compared to Confederation.

  Princess Cila shall rule as Queen of Covenant of Cril when she returns to Cril, but not without first retriving the Crown of the Covenant from Planet Sigma 756. Go to Sigma 756 to meet Shal'Qah, a local avian tribe leader in Shal'a mountain range, for help, he knows the location of the crown. King Lorin shall leave too, to confuse Tyrilians.

  Crilite protocols are largely similiar to humans as they are very similiar in both their biological and social evolution path. One thing of note is that Crilites consider the focus of attention very important.

  A bit similiar to diabetes to Humans before it's treated, but more deadly. Needs a periodic injection of holulin in order to survive. And if left untreated, the result will be similiar to carbon monoxide poisoning, in which the oxygen-carrying capability of blood cell will be gradually lost, which will result in suffocation and death. This disease will worsen if under stress, careful medical treatment is absolutely necessary.
  As an inborn genetic defect, the Chronic Choriocytosis is caused by a lack of enzyme, the Holulin, necessary in Crilite's physiology.

  The Covenant marked the start of the current Crilite Dynasty, which was born hundreds of years ago. Also of utmost religious importance to Crilites.

Background: Having grown up in a lower-middle class family star ship command was not a likely option for Flint when he was growing up but like many other children he was raised on stories of the exploits of the heroes of Confederation Navy and he quickly set his sights. Flint doesn't often talk about how he managed to get into the academy or the inquiry that was ordered relating to it, but regardless there was not enough evidence to press charges, unfortunately Flint still carries this blemish on his report. Life in the academy was easy enough Flint had trained his body to peak athleticism and was a naturally talented shooter. The academic side provided more of a challenge but Flint worked hard and passed with an impressive record showing excellent talent in his martial skills and was placed on security.
Flint has served on one ship and his relatively lower class upbringing saw him get along very well with the other crew members. Of course the questionable way he was able to get into the academy in the first place saw tensions between him and his officers however nothing too drastic ever came to pass. And excellent repour with crew members as well as a heroic performance in one of only two instances of space combat saw Flint promoted and he was sent back to Earth ready for his new posting.

The Swiftwing is one of the first(and sadly, also one of the last) ship of Swan-class Light cruiser.
Equipped with top-of-the-line technology, facility and equipment at it's prime, Swan-class formed a large part of the effective defence force throughout the last century, and performed well in both the Second and Third War, and as a result, many ship of this class has been lost in battle.
Originally designed with a service lifespan of 80 years, Swan-class performed beyond all expections, and is certfied of an additional lifespan of 20 years(Actually mainly because of the Third War).
Now this class of ship is meeting its end even with its extended lifespan, and began to show all sort of problem with aging.

The newest weaponery aboard the ship are the twelve General Weaponery GWHEP5-MK2P HEPPC Cannon mounted on port and starboard of the ship, replaced its predecessor in the 2400 refit, you checked your Combat Starship Simulator, and seems like the information in the simulator is pretty accurate, you chilled in your spine.
The oldest is the two Confederated Technology HEP8-MK3A-3 Triple mount HEPPC Array, which is already mounted since the ship's entrance into the service in 2326.
You also notes that the power requirement that listed on the operation manual is the power requirement to fire one of the multiple cannon mounted on the same point.
Also noted is that the 2 main cannon mount's power conduit is directly connected to the reactor core itself, possibly field-modified some years before, that allows more power on the main cannon mount as long as reactor's up, but will cause complications if the core is down, this also incresed the risk of damage in case of an overload feedback from the cannon.
