Turn 17: Light Spirits

I leave my horse to graze here as I enter the cave. While I walk I'll take a look at my birthmark.(Do we all have triforce marks on our hands?)

Yes, you all have a piece of the triforce. Until I come up with something better, the scenario might turn out to be something like the Four Sword Adventures. Maybe you should all pray that Vaati doesn’t show up.

3) You are about to go into the cave when Toaster shows up. He dismounts and you two head into the cave together. Your lanterns illuminate the cave ahead. You don’t get very far when a deku baba appears.

I mount up and join dragnar.

6) You decide to be cheep and don’t buy anything from the store. You feel like the forest is calling you so you get on your horse and ride it into the woods. You pass the Ordon spring without incident and continue into Faron woods, passing Faron Spring without incident as well. You get a lantern from the same guy Dragnar did, and you find Dragnar at the entrance to a cave and dismount. You follow him into the cave and take out your lantern.

Inventory: lantern
+5 horse riding

I deliver a trio of swift blows to the monster.

3+1=4) you swing your sword at the beast while it is confused, 4+1=5) and strike it, following up with two more blows. 3-1=2) and it falls, changing into a flurry of black squares that fly into the sky and form a blue portal. Before you can wonder what happened, a shining light captures your attention. You watch as a giant, shining Ordon goat appears before you. It has a ball of light between its horns.

“I am Ordona, the light spirit. I am the guardian of this province. That beast that you have just slain was a shadow beast from the Twilight Realm, sent here to take my light and plunge this province into darkness like they have done to my brethren, Lanairu and Eldin. As we speak, dark forces are at work in the kingdom of hyrule. Oh great hero chosen by the goddesses, you are one of seven that must work to save this land.”

+4 swordsmanship

I try to accelerate myself so I get two actions per turn

2) you try to go faster, so you can get two actions per turn. It doesn’t work. All you do is pass gas.

who is ilia?

anyway, ask if she needs any help with anything. but not anything like "quest like a million miles to the home of the level infinity dark lord and bring back his 1% drop rate head".

3) You ask her if she needs help and she replies that there is a monkey that has been causing trouble around town. She asks you to do something about it.

*Begins asking around town for a place to purchase diving flippers* (I mean, c'mon, this place has a huge lake. Somewhere has to have more than a slingshot, milk and lamp oil for sale.  ;D)

(Barring that I'll continue exploring around the lake hunting and fishing. And I noticed there was no hawkgrass in my inventory, so if not I may go harvest some of that as well)

You can’t use hawk grass just anywhere. There has to be a hawk around. Besides, hawk grass played a very very minor role in Twilight Princess and I’m sure that it’ll be the same here.

6) remembering the chest at the bottom of the lake, you decide to ask around town for some flippers. You see a small kid and a larger kid playing with play wooden swords in front of a house. you go over to them.

“Wow, look at this guy.” The larger one says.

“He must’ve come with the caravan.” The smaller one says.

“Duh, Malo. Check out his sword!!”

“I’m looking for a set of flippers.” You announce.

“I’ve got a pair.” The larger one replies. “But it’ll cost you a hundred rupees.”

“Talo, that’s too much.” Malo says.

“Shut up.” he says to Malo. “Or you can let me play with your sword.” Talo continues.

Environment: the darkness is advancing, and will be unleashed the next turn instead. Wolfchild will be introed in the next turn as well.

in twilight, if you stun you get seeds for slingshot, if you do stun you get its head which you can puckup and throw(its not in inv) and then its crushed and you get seeds

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Turn 18: Twilight Unleashed

I kill the deku baba without first stunning it. I want deku nuts, not the almost useles deku stick.

2) you take out your sword and charge, but trip on a rock. 4) skidding unharmed to a stop at the roots of the Deku Baba.

+1 swordsmanship
+1 speed

Assist dragnar with some hot hot ball and chain action.

3) after seeing Dragnar fail and the Deku Baba about to attack him, you quickly take out your B&C and 5) swing it into the Deku Baba's face. 4) killing it. you fall over in your haste and land on Dragnar. 1) harming both of you in the process.

Status: 3.5/5 hearts
Dragnar Status: 4/5 hearts
+3 Ball and Chaining

agree to kill this monkey!

track him down.

6) you agree to tracking the monkey and begin your search. not very experienced in the ways of tracking, you look around and discover some monkey foot prints near the lake that head into the forest.

+3 tracking

Paulus: "Haggle the price down. then buy."

6) you decide that you agree with Malo, haggling down the price until it's only 20 rupees. you buy them gladly.

inventory: +flippers, -20 rupees

I head in the direction I saw Dragnar go. I'll try to grab a lantern and get to where he is now.

5) remembering seeing your allies go into Faron woods and that that is the direction you must go, you head into the woods. you don't go very far when you find Faron spring... just in time to see three shadow beasts stealing the Spirit's light....

go to the castle

1) you start heading in the direction of the castle when something suddenly strikes you from behind. you scream in pain as he fall from your horse, roiling as if your organs were rearranging themselves.

Environment: the twilight realm finally gains control of the Faron Province, changing every human inside it into sprits. all of them except for the three heros in the woods and the single hero on the faron province section of Hyrule field. Nirur Torir transforms into the Sacred blue-eyed wolf, Dragnar turns into a jet black jaguar, Toaster turns into an orange fox with blue markings, Maxicaxi turns into a purple cobra. just before each one blacks out, the last thing they see is Shadow beasts heading toward them.

everyone wakes up hours later inside of a dungeon. they see four others each chained up.

Wolfchild: you wake up as a lime colored wolf. your right paw is chained to the ground. you can't remember how you got there but there are four other animals with wierd markings also trapped in a similar way as you are.

That took awhile. in short. Wolfchild, nirur, Dragnar, Toaster, and Maxicaxi are animals and are in a dungeon in the Twilight realm.
