I've added in a working sides system, so fights can be a tad deeper now.
I'll add a chance for uninvolved characters to join a fight on a side,
and if one side is eliminated, the fight ends.

Pacifism will be the passive alternative to siding up,
but not an actual part of the fight system.

[EDIT]:

     - aggressive characters will join against people they don't like
     - text for fighting has been adopted for more fighters than two

I've spotted a bug or two, but I feel confident that I can debug them.
This system is so open ended and full of holes, it is almost daunting.

I'm going to have pacifistic characters attempt to break up fights,
and extremely pacifistic characters choose to ignore them.
The chance of breaking up the fight will be based on charisma.

I'll post a screen or demo soon.

[EDIT 2]:

     - room connections are in, and characters keep track of rooms they've been in and room connections

They just sit in one room for now, but I'll give them some motives and send them off to explore soon.

How about you can talk during battle?
- A losing opponent will lose self-confidence
- A losing opponent may surrender if offered, depending on aggression (low aggression = easily surrender, high aggression = fight to death) (or maybe self-confidence)
- You can taunt a severely losing opponent to drop schler self-confidence greatly
- Opponents with very low self-confidence will not fight well

Whoa. You certainly are quick on your fingers, so to speak.

Schler is a replacement for "her/his". Similarly, schle = "he/she", schlim = "him/her".

Woah... lets assume these are regular people, and this is more of a social thing.

In that case, you might want to make aggressiveness separate from "tendency to approach people."  I have met a good number of people who were simultaneously aggressive and introverted, so that they didn't talk to many people but tended to get in a lot of fights/arguments.

That sounds like a special case sort of thing.
Maybe if some other stat overwhelms aggression you end up like that?
Maybe I need to put in an outgoing stat?

I think I might.

What part of "it is finals week" don't you understand?

Anyways, I am finally free of these wretched projects and tests,
so I can finally get back to my own projects.

I'll probably open up the trunk of this thing today,
but I'm not sure how much I will accomplish.

I think what he means is "Watching" - that is, posting so that when new posts are added, anytime in the future (after finals week perhaps), it'll show up in his "New Replies" link.

Sorry, I'm stupid sometimes.

I'm pretty sure I knew that, but failed to recall.
Early morning is a bad time for me to be on the internet.
