Has Pendulum redeemed themselves?
« on: April 29, 2010, 08:56:54 pm »

After their quite frankly shite last album In silico, they may have just convinced me to buy their new album from the end of this song. It starts about 3:17 in. Its a good song, but jesus the end. Eargasm and a fucking half.

Anyway, pendulum discussions. I'm guessing theres not many who listen to DnB, dubstep or jungle here... but heres hoping.

Is there a hidden meaning? I hear some guy talking loudly over a techno beat.

I used to listen to Pendulum a lot.

I liked their style in Hold your Color and bought In Silico and it had a couple of good tracks(Propane Nightmares, Granite). But I haven't been up to date with their latest work.

Recently they had a concert in my city so that reminded me of them though I  eventually didn't go see it.

I don't like their new style of lyrics. I think they were best when they were minimal an just good phrases like in Blood Sugar.

In In Silico they added more lyrics... probably for the worse.

The latest lyrics are really annoying with that psedo-freestyle voice going on non-stop.

I think this stuff was recorded live, they were doing a concert in London promoting their new album. So we can expect it without the voiceover.

Meh.
Sounds like same old Pendulum.

It's post-modern art. It's useless, it looks weird, but it's worth a lot of money.
Plus, with an elephant, you really only need to caulk a couple places. They start out pretty watertight.
